As we move steadily towards our re-location to Somerset West in December, we have two vacancies within our Trust Office Department starting in the new year.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Ubuntu old boy Calem Tommy on signing with Portland Timbers 2. So excited for him after two years of boarding school at Northwood (Black Rock Academy) and four years at NC State where he was a national finalist this past year. Really excited

John knew his calling, to pave the way for the King of Kings, his cousin Jesus. #humblesurrender “And this was his message: “After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.” Mark 1:7 NIV

So sad. Not the first leader to use his position for personal gain and agenda and abuse. Where’s the accountability and governance to prevent this kind of thing and conflicts of interest that are for personal gain? Lord help us 🙏🏻

Awesome to see God working in someone’s life. Priscilla was once addicted to drugs and now she’s part of the solution! Selling vouchers in our community cafe that provide the homeless a voucher to have a shower, get a meal, some clothes or a safe space to sleep. #transformation

Don’t just attend church. Love the church. Serve the church. Give through the church. Invite people to church. Worship Jesus with the church. Encourage the church. Participate in the church. Pray for the church. Be the church.

Remember when someone close to you betrays you deeply take it to Jesus. Jesus knows how you feel, he was betrayed by Judas who he entrusted everything to and journeyed with for three years. Jesus knows your pain, he knows betrayal, give it to him, he understands your pain #Jesus

In and unkind and unforgiving world God asks us to change this up, to be kind as he is kind, to forgive as he forgave us. Hard to do this when people hurt or betray us but as followers of Jesus this is what we are to do. #BeKind

Came across this prayer the other day. Love it’s simplicity and power. #daybyday #prayerlife

Agreed. Let’s see more church spaces utilised to serve their communities. After school initiatives, sports, job training, counselling support #morethanasunday

Thanking God today for The @salvationarmy - founded by William and Catherine Booth this week in 1865. Still changing lives. Still waging war on injustice. Founding partners in the global @247prayer movement. So grateful.

When numerical growth is taken as the criterion of judgment on the church, we are transported with alarming ease into the world of the military campaign or the commercial sales drive. Lesslie Newbigin

I love this organisation and the work they do. They are willing to go the extra mile and walk a journey with young men, many coming from difficult backgrounds.
