World Series of Poker - event #1 Mystery Millions, No-Limit Hold’em was a record breaker with 19,654 entries. Just over $18 million prize pool.
$1 million guaranteed for 1st place and most likely two $1 million bounties plus $500k ones etc.
Day 2 starts at 11 am today and 1,045 remain. I’m currently sitting in 6th place overall with 2,880,000 in chips.
Long way to go but looking forward to it!
I’ll tell you what, this new WSOP+ app has tons of cool info and features, such as everything on the tournament clock screen, every player registered, who’s at your table, which tournaments you’ve registered for and you’ll receive a message when one of them starts, payouts, ability to withdraw from a tournament, your tournament account cash balance, and much more.
Also, reg line cashiers can register you, verify credit cards (only if used on the app to buy into a tournament) and accept deposits to your WSOP tourney account. If you’re a 7 star you’ll breeze on through, otherwise allow at least two hours it looks like.
As most of you know, I have been critical of @WSOP in the past when I have felt it was warranted, but in this case the opposite is true. I don’t know if the pre-existing @WSOP staff or @GGPoker is responsible for these innovations, but whoever it is, deserves a lot of credit.
