As we watch the current administration ignore America’s long history of due process, it’s worth recalling the ramifications of the Bush administration’s torture of suspects in foreign lands. nytimes.com/2025/04/29/us/po…

So Musk cheats at video games. The most amazing statement he’s made though is that one can’t beat players in Asia without it. Isn’t that our accusation about the Chinese, they’ve stolen their way to digital primacy? Great story, ⁦@drewharwell⁩ washingtonpost.com/technolog…

On political endorsement wapo.st/3YmeD3T This is cowardice, with democracy as its casualty. @realdonaldtrump will see this as an invitation to further intimidate owner @jeffbezos (and others). Disturbing spinelessness at an institution famed for courage.

Worth noting that Comey Barrett found judge Doughty’s ruling factually inaccurate. Which was obvious at the time, but nevertheless was upheld by a 5th Circuit panel. Corruption in the judiciary has never been more obvious in a case. nytimes.com/2024/06/26/us/po…
