A couple months ago, @pia_planning began arguing that the Auckland upzoning was a triumph of the strategic planning process.

New blog post from me on the “Great Upzoning” of New Zealand. It’s been a long, messy 15 years of reform but it’s worth standing back and celebrating the remarkable progress.
