These children have not only been failed during this neat 6 year window and that timeline is absolutely indefensible. -In 2016 Harvey was born, with quite serious scoliosis already at that point and Temple Street (pre-CHI) linked him to an orthopaedic surgeon that only deals with feet so he was never even reviewed properly. -In 2017 we got told his scoliosis was ‘life and death’ and that his ribs were crushing his lungs. That same year we saw the Prime Time exposé highlighting the years of failures in scoliosis care that led to @SimonHarrisTD 4 month sound bite. -In 2018 at 2 years of age, Harvey got pneumonia for the first time as a result or reduced lung function. This is the type of information that won’t even feature in this farce of an inquiry.
