They said I'd never play pro basketball. I said God gets the final say on that! I like what He said, too. Sometimes...you've gotta create your own shot!

Prayed with Connor (@ConnorLion2024) after his last Florida Flight Basketball Academy practice before heading off to play college basketball. What a privilege God has given me.

After every game, this one is there to hug me. THIS “My Daddy’s a Champion!” hug hit different. Look at her smile. She knows she’s a champion too!
Championships require sacrifice. I’m fortunate to have a family that understands that.

Coaches, try teaching multiple things through your drills. This drill teaches players how to get in the paint and finish. It’s ALSO teaching players how difficult it is when you force shots in double teams. Practice is controlled failure.

My guy @ConnorLion2024 shined like a captain and senior is supposed to shine in the first game of one’s senior year of hoops. #TeamNoShovels #RiseOfTheCenturions – at Sanford, FL

I’m so PROUD of @whisler_noah right now. The real win for a coach is seeing true growth and development. Noah’s work ethic proves what I learned in my own life. It doesn’t matter what people say or think you can/can’t do. It’s the work that matters. #TeamNoShovels @FloridaFlight – at Longwood, FL
Got my invite, and punched my ticket. I'll be in Georgia...

PLAYERS - Don’t make the mistake in thinking athleticism is a gift. Athleticism is oftentimes created. @whisler_noah and Micah Webb of our @FloridaFlight basketball academy understand this!

You came into a cutback season; that’s not a surprise to God. Now, whether you stay there or not depends on what you do. If you get bitter, go around defeated, then you’ll get stuck. Realize that cutback is a sign that new growth is coming.
Pulled these bad boys out today. I don’t wear them much because they are sentimental - a gift made by my amazing, ridiculously talented wife Florence. I want to keep them clean. Probably could sell these.
