Well, believing in Luke Fickell paid off this offseason. That’s all I’ve got to say: ON, WISCONSIN! 🦡
Luke Fickell went 6–10 vs. ranked opponents at Cincinnati after taking over a 4–8 dumpster fire and building it from absolute scratch.
Bret Bielema went 11–13 vs. ranked opponents at Wisconsin after walking into a 10–3, fully functioning, already-cooked program with a culture basically gift-wrapped.
So yeah, the records look “similar” on paper… but let’s not pretend the assignment was the same.
Fickell was out here building IKEA furniture with no instructions.
Bielema just moved into a fully furnished house and rearranged the couch.
