My little hobby game engine has progressed from rendering a cube. #indiedev #gamedev #sponza
A basic rendering of the Sponza scene. Facing down a stone corridor with stone arches draped in red, green and blue materials. The end of the corridor has a lion's head engraved in the stone.

1. Most of the debris would fall back to Earth, with some escaping around the solar system! 2. The Moon today orbits at a distance about 60 times the radius of the Earth. Back at the start, it would have been only around 3 or so radii away, with Earth spinning much faster.

I think it's the distinction between "Being left alone when not bothering anybody" and "Being able to bother people without anyone knowing you're the one doing it".
What an amazing throwback. I’d completely forgotten this song existed.

We shipped great products during full WFH due to Covid over the last few years, and now we’ve adopted a hybrid WFH model (3/2). Forcing people into an office doesn’t increase productivity (and minimum of 40hrs per week?!). BTW, we’re recruiting :-) affinity.serif.com/careers/

That's a lot of lorries all trying to get away for the half-term holidays.

It is concerning that the half-term holiday getaway brings traffic chaos to Dover once more. The ‘TAP’ road management system has caused overnight misery for two nights running for Dover’s Aycliffe residents. Today also sees rat-running building up through Dover town.

Just a wee shout out to @ArtRage @affinitybyserif and @Surface_UK for helping me to create this huge monster. Each component was painted A1 size and the final composition was a frankly enormous file size but these programs and trusty #SurfaceStudio2 handled it all amazingly! 💪
