I recently went on a road trip to the vintage store Relic & Vogue in Windsor with @SimonVannarath and Brittany. I was curious to see what retro games and other old tech they had there, so I made a video about our day! youtube.com/watch?v=jQuMC6PG…

Discless consoles suck because
-no 2nd hand games
-no borrowing games
-can only buy games from 1 store
-can’t resell your games
-have to update firmware regularly and agree to new terms of use regularly to retain access to your games.
-unable to refuse game updates/patches

🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: ASIO no. 2 is being rushed through parliament this week.
This is the bill that allows warrantless questioning by ASIO, without a lawyer, and you can't tell a soul without being sent to prison.
Share this widely and make some noise.
It was Wolfenstein 3D. I got the shareware version on a cover disk attached to this shareware magazine and I played it on my 386 PC. I couldn't believe that such a "3D" game was possible on a modern computer.

When PlayStation talk about “physical versus digital” sales numbers they don’t include second-hand sales.
Ahah, I tried it with the first Zelda game. That's fascinating.❤️

I see the same Golden Age fallacy from millennials about our youth that I see from boomers on Facebook about their youth. Everyone wasn't happier back then because there were no smartphones or some other reason. For some us, it was hell.

Hey @Steam why can't I use my visa debit card for this? I tried putting it in but then it just goes back to this screen. I'm over 18. My first computer was a Commodore 64. This is crazy.

So apparently @YouTube confirms that content from an increadibly famous game -Wolfenstein 3D, is now classed as "hate speech".
This is a staggering escalation for something that clealy not promoting hate speech, and is just a tech demo using a famous games open source resources. But for them to review the appeal, and STILL stand by it, is - to say the least, jaw dropping.
Does @youtube and @Google now consider Nazi's to be a "protected" group? We literally fought wars and millions died to get rid of them - are Google now protecting them?
It should be noted, that there is no appeal where you can explain or have a discussion with anyone. You press a button and get a single response, then that's it.
What does the training do? Make you respect Nazis?
FFS @youtube/@google, get a grip, this is CLEARLY not hate speech or perhaps you now want to ban all FPS games - just in case? What about Zombies... are they a protected group now?
