I wrote this book to help you become part of the solution—an answer to the problem of hurt, harm, polarization, and animosity so prevalent in our world. By practicing the Peace Prayer, you can become more like Jesus in these divisive times. Preorder here: navpress.com/p/make-me-an-in…

Silence is not always complicity. But there are times it becomes so. Watching people celebrate the late-stage killing of a human being is one of those times. I will not remain silent. Whatever else this is, it is not compassion. Children scream for justice as Molech smiles:-(

Thank you, @CNN, @CBS, @ABC, and @NBC for courageously protecting me from live remarks by @POTUS. Because nothing celebrates 250 years of freedom quite like deciding what Americans are now allowed to see/hear. “Democracy dies in darkness,” and apparently in unfiltered broadcasts.

I have lived & labored for Christ in the South since 1993. The collective faith, resilience, and hope of African American Christians is genuine, remarkable, and inspiring. Without their enduring witness, the U.S. Church would not be what it is today, nor as strong as it remains.

The irony isn’t that today’s private media are state-controlled. They aren’t. It’s that some of the loudest critics of authoritarianism favor or practice editorial gatekeeping. A free society is best served and ultimately sustained when people see, hear and decide for themselves.

Have we confused faith with a formula? The Bible doesn’t promise that if you do everything right, everything will go right. It promises that if you trust Christ, all will ultimately be well… no matter what goes wrong.

The homogeneous unit principle is an evangelistic, discipleship, and leadership development concern. It was never intended by MacGavran to be mistakenly applied as a strategy for church growth fueled by people from a single demographic group. a.co/d/0aaVuDn8

Grateful for those who’ve served, and especially for those who’ve died defending freedom. Thankful for my country and to be born in the U.S.A. So, yes… I’m proud to be an American! May our collective pursuit of liberty & justice for all forge an ever more perfect Union. #America

Politicians championing the need for affordable housing while imposing undue financial burden on builders/investors through over regulation, driving up costs and thus maintaining the status quo: you guessed it, a lack of affordable housing. #smh

Nothing more #Resurrection than a convicted sex offender approaching during worship to thank me for allowing him to be in the room today. “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Rom 8:1) Believe in Him and you will be saved. #Easter #HopeForAll

"This is the 1st time in my 83 years that I'm mtg w/ppl that believe the multiethnic church is possible. I've seen some hope & leadership we've been longing for. I feel finished. I can go back to MS & live out the rest of my life." —Dr. John M. Perkins @Mosaix Conference (2013)
