Why does a state that issues its own currency by decree need a wealth fund?
It’s based on the same illiterate ‘fiscal black-hole’ - ‘we’ve run out of money’ madness that got us here.
Modern fiat nations do not need to save the currency they freely issue.

It current has 10,000 young people working for free, paid by you.
With £1.02bn it could hire 105,905 people aged 18-20 for 16 hours a week all year.
