Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

10 years ago today @HillaryClinton nailed the bleak future ahead if Trump was elected.
“Clinton: Putin would rather have a puppet as president. You won't admit the Russians engaged in cyberattacks against the US, that you encouraged espionage against our people, that you spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants you to do.”
Every word is true. Tragically, his capitulation to Russia is even worse than imagined.

Facts matter. The economy was better the day Biden left office than it is now. Trump made everything worse.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Trump has abused the presidency and turned it into a personal grift machine, using the power of the office to benefit himself, his family, his brand, and his wealth.
It’s corruption.
Plain and simple.

Future generations are going to pay the price for our federal government’s callous disregard for Americans’ health and the environment.
That's why I sued the Trump administration for their unlawful rollbacks of power plant pollution limits.

So Jeanine Pirro was the one who signed the search warrant on Ilhan Omar's home.
1- if it was Jeanine Pirro you know it was political & came from Trump
2- it won’t hold up. Jeanine Pirro has yet to win a case in court.
Everything she has done so far has been tossed out or dismissed.

In 2019, Donald Trump called 94-year-old Jimmy Carter to talk about China, and President Carter asked him a simple question:
"You're worried that China is getting ahead of us. But have you ever asked where we spent our resources — and where China spent theirs?"
Soon afterward, Carter — who had normalized full diplomatic relations between Washington and Beijing in 1979 — elaborated on his view to members of his church.
He explained that, since he left office, the US had spent roughly $3 trillion on wars, military operations, and a global security presence.
China, meanwhile, had spent its money on railways, high-speed trains, ports, roads, power infrastructure, universities, manufacturing, technology, and urban development.
"Don't just show us how much you spent,” he concluded. “Show us what our children will still have because of that spending."
President Carter was a very smart man who deeply cared about our country and its future ❤️

BREAKING: HELL YEAH! Trump gets NIGHTMARE news about his absurd "Triumphal Arch" as the Arlington County government unleashes a massive lawsuit to block its construction.
And it gets even better...
In their suit, the county's board asserts that the White House ignored a crucial review process in their deranged, rushed efforts to begin working on the President's vanity project. Since the proper process was not followed, construction should not be allowed to proceed.
Specifically, the administration failed to properly evaluate the possible environmental impacts of the arch and such analysis is required under the National Environmental Policy Act. Arlington is accusing the MAGA-controlled National Park Service of performing nothing but a "cursory" and "truncated" review of the project.
It should come as little surprise that this regime, as adversarial towards the environment as it is, would try to circumvent this key step. Unfortunately for them, the law is the law.
The arch — one of several construction projects that Trump is desperately scrambling to erect in the hopes that he might fashion a semblance of a legacy for himself amidst the ashes of his failed presidency — is supposed to go up on an island in the Potomac River that is officially part of D.C., but sits just a few hundred meters from Arlington. The suit urges the court to block any demolition or construction until an “appropriate environmental review” is conducted.
Hopefully, the judge sees the light of reason and grants Arlington this injunction. Once Democrats retake Congress in November, we'll have more power to throw up lasting roadblocks to this idiotic waste of tax dollars.
Pop quiz: What "triumph" is Trump even hoping to commemorate? The Iran War is a historic, economy-crashing failure and his domestic policies have been just as bad. This man does not have a single real victory to his name and yet he wants to be remembered like Napoleon. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it.
Please ❤️ and share if you support this lawsuit!

ICE makes this city less safe.
We want them out. Now.
