RT @JonnyH3232: FT Spurs 3-1 Coventry Finally the victory we deserved this tonight some very good performances. We looked very disjointed…
☄️ James Maddison, on his first start for Tottenham Hotspur in 500 days, scores a worldie. That is stunning. The technique is superb. Wow. And Spurs take the lead in a Premier League game for the first time in almost 5 months.

I’m no video editor but I am a huge James Bond fan and really really loved Chris Cornell and his theme tune to Casino Royale, You Know My Name. So last night, just scrolling through YouTube, I found Anthony Vincent (10 second songs) who did an amazing version of System of a down’s Chop Suey! If it was covered by Ghost! I then discovered he had done a cover of No Time To Die if it was done by Chris Cornell. So I was intrigued to see how it would work with the opening titles. So here goes Here’s the link to the original video. Please do check it out and support the official channel. youtu.be/rxMAU2J3hZ4?is… #JamesBond #ToTimeToDie

FT: MAN UNITED 1–1 SPURS Get in there 👊🏼🔥 Boy, did this fanbase deserve that late goal! The scenes, the limbs 😎 The fans didn’t stop singing. I asked to see a turnaround, a sign. I think this may be the start. We absolutely dominated them in the first 30 minutes, with around 62% possession. Solanke and Kudus both missed great chances to score. Senesi was superb with his interceptions and passing from the back. The midfield, I thought, was very solid — Tonali and Gallagher were mightily impressive today, battling hard. There were so many poor passes from them early on in the game. I felt it was because of our effective press. We were able to win possession in the final third five times in the first half — our second-highest total in any game this season. Solanke was so poor. How is he captain? This is a poor Man U defence, and they were there for the taking in that half. Baleba and Zirkzee seemed to turn it for Man U. When Mbeumo scored, we all thought, “Here we go again,” but we fought back. Then came the hammer blow — the Bentancur red — but the heads didn’t drop. In the 92nd minute, Solanke was falling, and I think the ball hit his head. We go again. COYS 🤍💙

Xavi Simons has revealed he has been accepted on, and has begun his studies for, a business course at the prestigious Harvard Business School. As he continues his rehabilitation from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained back in April, Xavi has decided to put the spare time he has around his recovery schedule to brush up on business knowledge. While focussed on getting back to the pitch as soon as possible, the Dutchman has always been keen to learn and improve in all aspects. Now, with a long-held interest in business, the Dutchman will take part in the Crossover into Business program at Harvard. A semester-long online course designed specifically for athletes looking to develop their business skills, it will give him the chance to learn more about business alongside MBA (Master of Business Administration) students. The forward recently travelled to the USA to continue his rehabilitation programme. While there, he met a number of athletes from across America's national sports while he also surprised members of our Official Supporters Club Boston Spurs when in the Massachusetts state capital. On his official LinkedIn page, Xavi said... "I’m going back to school. During my recovery, I’ve been trying to use my time in the best way possible. Football is still my main focus, but I also want to keep learning and improving away from the pitch. I’m happy to share that I’ve been accepted onto the Crossover Into Business Program at Harvard Business School. It’s an online program where professional athletes learn more about business alongside HBS MBA students. "I’ve always been interested in more than just football. I want to understand the business side of the game better, learn from people in different industries and keep developing as a person. "Over the last few weeks, I’ve spent time on both the East Coast and West Coast in the U.S., meeting new people and seeing different ways of working. It’s given me a lot of new ideas. It also makes this experience extra special because of Professor Anita Elberse. We first met during my time at FC Barcelona, and later again at Paris Saint-Germain. We’ve stayed in touch over the years, so it was great to see her again and visit Harvard while I was in Boston. "Getting back on the pitch is still my number one priority. At the same time, I want to use this period to keep learning and invest in myself beyond football. Looking forward to getting started." #COYS #THFC

🚨🎙️ LEO MESSI FULL SPEECH: "I have nothing left to do but thank this shirt. For 20 years, even through the worst moments, I never stopped fighting, pushing forward, giving everything I had and wanting to be here. "Not coming here anymore and no longer being with the Argentina National Team is going to hurt a lot. If it were up to me, I would love to be here for my entire life, because playing for Argentina is the most beautiful thing there is. "I think I’m talking more than ever today because I simply don’t want this moment to end. "But I think the time has come for me to retire. The last World Cup took a lot out of us after everything we went through. We arrived in the final with just enough left in us, but we fought until the very end, like we always did. "We came very close to winning it again, and despite everything that was said about us, nothing strange happened. The match against England took a lot out of us because we gave absolutely everything. "In 2022, we had the dream of fulfilling not only my dream, but the dream of an entire country: becoming world champions again. And we did it. "We won the World Cup, the Copa América, the Finalissima… I’m incredibly grateful for everything I experienced with this National Team. "But this journey wasn’t only about 2022 or this last World Cup. So many teammates fought alongside me for this shirt long before we finally became world champions. Never doubt how much every one of them fought and gave for Argentina. "It was a privilege and an honor to share the pitch with all of my teammates and to share so much of our lives together away from football. Every time we stepped onto the pitch, I knew we could compete against anyone because I had warriors beside me who were willing to leave absolutely everything out there. "To achieve the biggest things, you need a strong group. And it’s during the most difficult moments that you truly discover what kind of team you have. That’s one of the biggest reasons we were able to achieve everything we did. "And especially to this group: THANK YOU. They helped me fulfill the dream I had since I was a child. They helped me become a world champion. "I also want to thank the people. I was lucky enough to play in so many cities across Argentina, and everywhere I went, I received an incredible amount of love. "Throughout all these years, wherever we played in the world, the stadiums were always full of Argentinians. No matter the match or the distance, people made an enormous effort to be there. We know how difficult that is. Wherever we went in the world, it felt like we were playing at home because we could always feel your support. "And that support has to continue. Difficult moments will come, and those are the moments when you have to support the team more than ever. You need strong, united groups because there will always be people who want to see the National Team fail, and we can’t give them that satisfaction. "Here, in this stadium, I experienced one of the happiest days of my life: our first match at home after becoming world champions. It was beautiful. And today might be one of the saddest because I’m standing here saying goodbye. "I’m going to miss all of you so much, but I’ll always be on your side. I’ll be supporting these boys and everyone who comes after them. "There are so many emotions going through me right now. I’m surely forgetting many things I would like to say because this is a very difficult moment for me. The first person who comes to my mind is my dad. "I’m going to miss playing here so much. I love you all, and I’m proud to be Argentine. "I leave grateful, proud and at peace. Thank you for everything.” 🇦🇷❤️
