Despite today’s rain I did a little more on the watercolour sketch in my moleskine this afternoon here in Porthmadog. Good to see Beverley still floating. #moleskine #pleinair #watercolour #porthmadog

Last night these clouds gave an amazing sunset shot from my garden through this lovely oak tree. There is a buzzard cycling in the top left. Taken on my Nikon D800 #southdownsnationalpark #sussex

Back in the studio I painted this again, Petworth House from Duncton. About from a photo taken 4 miles away. You can see the usually hidden gable end, well almost. Painted on a Millford paper with Schmincke watercolours. #watercolours #petworthhouse #sussex @PetworthNT

I painted this watercolour for my Aunt’s birthday, her husband has commissioned me to do her portrait and I did this A5 card to let her know a much bigger painting will be coming soon. Once we are allowed to do a sitting. #watercolour #portrait #birthdaycard

Torre delle Ore is where this view can be seen, just remembered. The bell chiming was so loud, bring earplugs!

Stages from my watercolour, Central Piazza at Portmeirion. Unusually I did the background last as it is the darkest part. I like the pencil stage best! Painted on a full sheet of Millford paper with Schminkcke watercolours #portmeirion #wales #watercolour #artistsontwitter
