A statement on yesterday…..
Everything I said in that interview was true. However, rest assured I’m doing my best to turn things round.
I have been in a mental health clinic for the last 10 weeks, finally discharging so I could attempt to play in Belfast
I owed that to my family, in particular my daughter to see me play for what could be the last time….. I also owed it to the fans who have supported me throughout my 21 years on tour
I also owed that to World Snooker who have been amazing from day on in all this, in particular Simon Brownell and Neil Tomkins who have remained in touch regularly, even Simon paying me a visit in the clinic itself
I’m not ok, but I’m ok in that itself. I’ve been much worse in the last few months than you saw yesterday. I literally didn’t see a future in anything…..
My daughter kept me going, the therapists, staff and all the other patients were amazing and helped me through some really dark days
I see the light now that I couldn’t see before but I do now. I also know it won’t happen overnight. I’m a work in progress!!! My fight and determination on the table has always been there for ones to see. I need to show those same fighting qualities off it now for a while
Please don’t detract anything from Jordan yesterday, he’s been aware of my struggles and that can’t have been easy to play in but he handled it with grace and skill as I knew he would. Im proud to call him a friend
I hope the rest of the event is a success and I will continue my treatments going forward and then see what’s ahead
Thank you to every single message I have received on here, instagram, Facebook, text messages and WhatsApp’s, I’ve seen them all but a bit overwhelmed to reply right now. Just know that they have helped me a lot but I’m not going anywhere just yet!!!! I have so much to live for and this is only the beginning of my new journey
Also, I was not made to do any interviews, I was simply given a choice and felt I owed it to everyone to speak. The media team at WST have been incredible through all this too
Thank you all x

Genuinely one of the most heartbreaking interviews I’ve seen of a sportsman at rock bottom. The interviewer gives a perfect example of how to be there for someone struggling. The compassion shown. The hug. The kindness. Hope Mark gets the help he needs.
I have too busy a day to spend any part of it engaging with your disingenuous cherrypicking to deflect from the uncomfortable position you've placed yourself in here.
Here's what you used to tell us. I wonder what changed.
Have a good day.

We reject your attempts to drag us back to the bad old days of governance by crowds on the streets. There can be mo more of this dangerous nonsense and your party should pay a price for inciting it.

I haven't received a letter from PSNI relating to unlawful protest on Garvaghy Road so I won't have to attend an interview in period ahead.
Standing up for what is lawful is always the right thing for a legislator to do.
There is no going back to mob-rule. Not now. Not ever.
The bots in overdrive today.
When something relevant is uncomfortable, flood the space with distractions.
They have their work cut out - not just because the revelations are explosive, but also because everyone now knows how the bot army (or is it the bot army council) works.

Firefighters are at the scene of a lorry carrying oil that is on fire in Lurgan.
The blaze started shortly before 12 noon.
I understand five fire appliances have been sent to the scene @BelTel

Unreservedly condemn the attack on Ormeau Road memorial. Remains to be seen who & for what motive.
It's perhaps counter-intuitive to connect it to a parade application when applicant would without doubt know it's in the interest of the application for such things not to happen.
😂😂😂 Poor wee Ronan felt so stupid for posting that, he has blocked me for setting the record straight. As they say, "you can't handle the truth".

No issue? Lol
The list of participating bands is already not only provided, but is published.
So on that basis, are you happy for the Fleadh to do likewise now? Or do you think it's an excessive burden on both?
A lot of commentators on Drumcree seem unaware Garvaghy once housed a Protestant population, living peacefully in an integrated community. They've mostly all fled now. Not a great advert for integration.
Is the Drumcree parade the final pièce de résistance against that purge?

Massive shock in Northern Ireland - exArsenal player boots in over the bar and @Arsenal #dundelaFC through to semis

So let's get this straight.
ABoD has applied for its annual remembrance parade, but this year it's Bryson that made them do it, rather than the fact it's an annual event? 😂😂
You're utterly obsessed with the lad.
So @ChiefConPSNI saw a risk of serious disorder. @little_pengelly asked @moneillsf to join her in issuing a First Minister appeal for calm, order & no crowds on streets.
Not only did @moneillsf decline, but her party actively called people to the streets.
Shockingly reckless.
