Most entrepreneurs don't need more ideas. They need a Clarity Break.
The ceiling is rarely out there. It's inside the business.
Weekly lessons from the Visionary seat. Clarity Break Thoughts, free: claritybreakthoughts.com
What ceiling are you hitting?
Keeping someone in the wrong seat because you like them is how you become an accidental nonprofit. I've seen it destroy businesses. Having a heart isn't an excuse for inaction. Set a deadline. Two quarters of underperformance is enough data. What makes that conversation so hard?
If you know someone isn't in the right seat, put it on paper first. The free People Analyzer rates each person on your core values and GWC. It turns a gut feeling into a conversation you can actually have. eosworldwide.com/the-people-…
You'll make a dent in the universe. But it's going to be hard.
That's how CJ DuBe describes becoming an EOS Implementer. Heavy lifting, and knowing you're making a difference.
What would be your north star?

Your worst person is your acceptable standard. That's why I like rating the whole team against your core values, not just job skills. The bar gets clear fast. What's the one value you'd never let slide, even for a top performer?
Stop trying to be nice at work. In our book Issues, NICE means Nothing In me Cares Enough to tell you the truth. The best teams I've ever worked with aren't nice. They're kind and clear. Is your team actually open and honest, or just nice? Send this to your leadership team.
Want an honest read on your team? Have every leader take the free Organizational Checkup on their own, then compare scores. Where you disagree is your first open and honest conversation. organizationalcheckup.com/
Ask your leadership team one question.
What's our Core Focus? Our purpose and our niche, in one sentence.
Five different answers? You don't have a strategy problem. You have a same page problem.
What would your team say?
Reply or DM me VTO and I'll send you the template.
Working harder won't fix a people problem.
Shannon Badger used to just work harder. About 40,000 hours flow through the firm a year. Extra hours are a drop in the bucket.
80% of the time, it's a person you won't deal with.

Most owners skip the part where they leave. The place stayed full at month 9 because he'd made it simple enough to run without him. Simplify, delegate, systemize. Then you've built something someone will buy.
What would break first if you were gone 30 days?
When I lived in Melbourne a restaurant opened up downstairs from our office.
The owner would go from table to table and introduce himself. He would ask where we worked and when we said in the building upstairs he would:
- bring out a free serving of fries or drinks
- discount something off the bill
- introduce us to his staff as a vip
- completely wave the bill if it was morning coffees.
It worked. We all went there almost every day.
About month 4 we would only see him in the restaurant every other day. Then once or twice a week.
By about 9months he was hardly there at all - he was opening another location.
The restaurant was always full of local workers and the discounts and freebies faded away as he did.
The following year he sold the business for several million. We discovered he had done this 6 times in 10 years.
Simple formula.
- focus on repeat business only.
- keep the menus simple and affordable (wood fired pizza, sandwiches, salads).
- win people over with special treats in the first 3 months.
- normalise in the next 6 months.
- Run the business profitably for 12 months.
- sell the business to a PE backed competitor.
He found what worked and he repeated it. Sometimes we overcomplicate success.
Your leadership team is only as aligned as the two people leading it. And they always know when you're not.
The answer is one meeting a month, two to four hours.
How often do the two of you sit down just to talk about the two of you? Send this to the person you lead with.
4. Put everything that's built up since last month on the Issues List before you solve anything.
5. IDS it. Identify, Discuss, Solve, one issue at a time.
6. Don't leave until the list is clear.
A month is a long time to carry something you haven't said out loud.
The solving part of that meeting runs on IDS. Free Issues Solving Track: eosworldwide.com/issues-solv…

Four things we look for in an EOS Implementer.
Story. You've been in their shoes.
Passion. You help first.
Purity. The 20 tools in the right order. Some love it. Some are turned off by it.
Network. People know and trust you.
Know an entrepreneur with all four? Send them this.

You can play every instrument in the band. That doesn't mean you have to be the whole band.
Coach or consultant? Being able to do it all usually keeps you doing it all.
Method, sessions, finding clients. Which would you hand off first? Or send this to a coach who does it all.
As an EOS Implementer, the process is already proven. The session guides and training already exist. The community runs on abundance, not competition.
You still bring your judgment into every room. You just stop carrying the parts that were never built for one person.
