Pabrai’s @MohnishPabrai compounding rules for 9th graders:
1. Spend less than you earn
2. Put into compounding engine
3. Don’t mess with it
Adults should pay attention.

Met up with one of my strongest connections I have ever made over X.
If it wasn’t for this app, I doubt we would have ever met in person.
Mark is the co-founder of Zaca, a supplement brand on Amazon and inside elite hotels like the Omni.
But when we meet up, we don’t talk business.
We talk Jesus, Bible, idiocy of nationalists, prayer requests, the future millennial kingdom, sin struggles, sharing the gospel, and biblical manhood.
He’s truly a brother from another mother.
Twitter in person.
Jon is the man.
Also if I owned a football team he’d be my tight end.
A true man of faith. Not only in knowledge, he’s got a heart of gold, and truly for God.
He may ruffle your feathers on X (because he speaks his mind). But if you meet him in person, the most genuine man.
He walks the talk.
It’s not often in life you meet someone and feels like you’ve known them for decades. Jon is that guy, definitely a brother from another mother.
And moving to Texas is on the docket.

Happy $META HODLer here.
If you want financial freedom, Tyler and his wife are a great example.
You have to live well BELOW your means.
So many are swimming upstream, they keep spending too much, no matter their income.
My wife & I are debt free.
Yesterday we received a large check from a paid off investment property (68 acre farm) we cash rent.
Here's our couch. ($200 from a neighbor that was moving).
Here's our kitchen table. ($15 to refurbish).
We drive 12/13 year old SUVs.
I own zero fancy watches or designer clothes.
My wife owns zero designer shoes or clothes.
We joke that if someone robbed us when we were away, they would be so angry because our home has nothing of value!
What we are RICH IN:
•Time.
•Margin.
•Freedom.
•Generosity.
•Passive income.
•Being 100% sovereign.
•Working on things we love.
•Never missing a kid’s event.
•Never sitting in boring meetings.
•Taking a midday walk anytime we want.
You've been PROGRAMMED to stay on the hamster wheel forever as a consumer.
UNLEARN.
Freedom > stuff.

There's an epidemic in people bragging about how easy it is to index and earn 15% a year in S & P's
I heard this fact many years ago.
It highly motivated me to get aggressive investing.
Either invest or buy property.
Cause the average entrepreneur does not retire rich.
AI is highly likely to keep getting cheaper and more efficient.
But no one knows by how much.
Makes it nearly impossible to anticipate the actual infrastructure required, we might be undershooting or completely overshooting.
This is a HUGE part of why I’m so bullish on AI.
As the cost of using AI falls, adoption becomes easier to justify.
Think about how we went from cutting physical payroll checks to direct deposit.
Or how we’ve increasingly moved from carrying cash to paying with a tap of our phones.
Technology gets cheaper. Friction disappears. Behavior changes.
Eventually, the old way of doing things starts looking ridiculous.
I believe we’re going to see the same thing with AI.
Things that were too expensive or complicated to automate yesterday will suddenly make economic sense tomorrow.
The opportunity isn’t just cheaper AI. It’s everything that becomes possible because AI gets cheaper.
We’re still incredibly early in understanding what that looks like.
“70% of $NVDA accounts receivables came from 5 companies” 😳

If you want truth, simply try to debunk the coming and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This is how most atheists become believers.
“Buy what’s out of favor” is a foreign concept to many retail investors.
Howard Marks on how he did it: "I put myself in position to get lucky." Buy what's out of favor, bring capital and a long view, and let the upside find you. $BN
Probably at least 50% of the people using AI:
If you're using AI all day and you're not making more money, it means you have the same problem you had before the AI: you're doing stuff that doesn't matter.
This is the real reason 99% of people don't get ahead. They don't know how to tell the difference between what's important and what's irrelevant. And just doing irrelevant things faster gets you the same outcome: nothing.
Except this time it cost you tokens.
They won’t teach you this in school.
Inflation is a feature, not a bug. (@1RentalataTime)
Inflation is how that government affords to print endless money.
If everyone understood that, they wouldn’t get away with it and the “affordability crisis” would be blamed on the government instead.
But of course, they don’t want you to understand this stuff.
We have $40 trillion of debt, and we spend more on interest than on defense. We're running a 6% budget deficit in peacetime.
A lot of our debt was issued when rates were very low. As it resets higher, interest consumes more and more of the budget.
Inflation is basically broken promises. Our government will never default in the traditional sense. It will default through inflation. You will get back every dollar you lent. Those dollars will just buy a lot less. We make promises, and to pay for them, we print more money and issue more debt.
It becomes a vicious cycle. If the government issues 30-year debt at 6%, and inflation may become 6%, you start demanding higher interest rates. Higher rates mean higher deficits.
At church today they showed this scripture during communion.
If you’re skeptical of God, this is a must read.
If you believe in God, this will deepen your faith.
700 years before Christ, in Isaiah it was written how he would come and die for us, and every detail was indeed fulfilled.
- “pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities”
Mathematician Peter Stoner estimated 1 in 100 quadrillion that any one person would fulfill all of these things by chance.
There’s a myth the average person thinks, especially Shark Tank viewers.
That 1st is the key to a successful business.
Rarely it is.
Best execution always wins.
Not to mention, there’s room for many winners in every category.
In my niche alone (hydration), there’s a gazillion products.
Just put your head down and start working, relentlessly, and you’ll win yourself.
Apple was the 15th smartphone maker
Spotify was the 10th music platform
Google was the 21st search engine to enter the market
Facebook was the 10th social network
Netflix was the 7th streaming provider
Uber was the 4th ride sharing service
TikTok was the 8th short-video app
Zoom was the 11th video-calling app
Being first doesn't mean winning
Don’t bet against Zuck. $META
That being said, also don’t bet against Dana White.
UFC was the only sport who had the balls to continue thru covid shenanigans.
Dana White says Mark Zuckerberg is an animal and reveals Meta board meetings go from 9am to 6pm, dinner, then another three hours, extending into two days
"I'm on the board of Meta and I just got home last night from a Meta board meeting, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made was when Mark Zuckerberg called me and I said yes to that."
"And you sit in this room, and not only the people that he runs through the room all day, which are some of their high-level employees there, but the rest of the board, you literally have the smartest people in the world trying to tackle problems that are, you know, a whole another level."
"There's levels to life and to business."
"So Zuckerberg is an animal, okay. These board meetings start at nine o'clock in the morning, they go till six, then you go to dinner and it's basically another three hours of the board meeting, right?"
"And every time we'll be in there, you know, two days in the room, and every time I walk out of those board meetings, I'm so fired up and inspired by the other board members and the people who work at Meta."
I’ve been saying, don’t underestimate Zuck.
Also the data shows when founders are running the company, they are usually the best investments.
Jeff Bezos with Amazon.
Jensen Huang with Nvidia.
Zuck is one of few left active ones left in the big tech names.
3.6 billion unique people use a Meta app every day. 43% of the world population.
WhatsApp is the default messaging app outside the US. Everyone below 40 is on Instagram, and everyone above 40 is on Facebook.
Don’t underestimate Meta’s distribution, and never underestimate Zuck. The guy is brilliant, disciplined, and relentless. He’s willing to make huge bets (e.g., investing nearly $100 billion in metaverse R&D), and he’s willing to pivot quickly when the market calls for it (e.g., pulling the plug on metaverse investing when it didn’t work out, rather than getting trapped in the sunk-cost fallacy).
Meta might not be a tier-one frontier lab, but they have all the capability—and every incentive—needed to figure out consumer AI. When they do, they’re going to absolutely dominate. And they will print money in the process.
