Your team doesn't have to be a traditional team. It's about bringing people on that are excited about what you're doing.

If you can sing your song with out all the bells & whistles that come with elaborate production and it STILL sounds good, that's a keeper!

We get so caught up in our streaming numbers that we forget there are actual humans out there we should be connecting with, not algorithms. You don't build a career with numbers. You build a career with people.

If you depend on luck to succeed you’re going to fail. If you accept that nothing worth having comes easy and are willing to put in the work to make your dreams come true, it will happen. Maybe not exactly how you expected, but you’ll get exactly what you deserve.

This holiday season, don’t forget to create. Be the artist you are. We are so fortunate to have the ability to take struggle and pain and channel that into meaningful, beautiful, therapeutic art. I am grateful.
