My thoughts as I apply for a visa for the 15th time: Where can international scholars be reimbursed for the time & energy spent on maintaining their legal status abroad? Like where is my thousands of hours for countless applications/emails/calls/interviews/documents..? #shame

Here's how to stop giving unsolicited advice:
I would loved to see a law here in Germany about not smoking in public areas. I am tired of running from one place to another at the bus/tram platform, due to smokers. Many do not care about children or pregnant women around 😞
Queda prohibido fumar en espacios públicos en #México, hoy entra en vigor una de las leyes antitabaco más estrictas del mundo..(1/3)

Fantastic outcome: @EuroGeosciences continues to lead the way on matters of #EDI. From this year (#EGU23), they are offering _free_ childcare for children from 1 to 12 years. You simply need to register online (booking form open will later this month). Thank you EGU!🥳

When someone's first reaction to climate change is, "overpopulation is the problem...people need to stop having kids...there are too many people on earth...", this is a BIG red flag for me. Studies have shown that poorer countries with larger pop. produce much less CO2 emissions-

BREAKING: Germany has just announced UNLIMITED public transport anywhere in the country will cost just £1.40 PER DAY.
Officials say the policy is aimed at cutting CO2 emissions and helping with the cost of living.
Anyone else think our government should do something similar?
