The idea that one has to have a race analysis or a class analysis was always strange to me because I've always been influenced by an ancestral tradition which did both. Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X were not socialists, but that did not prevent them from speaking on class issues and offering criticisms of capitalism. Similarly, socialists like Walter Rodney and Kwame Ture understood the importance of nationalism and cultural identity in the our struggle.

Here is how the remnants of Gaul have underdeveloped and subjugated West Africa;
1. 22 African leaders assasinated since 1960 for opposing french hegemony.
-from downing the plane carrying Barthélemy Boganda, for changing the name Oubangui-Chari to the Central Africa Republic,
-to the death of Comrade Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso,
-to lobbing a precision misile strike on Idris Deby Itno of Chad, while in the frontlines, on 20 April, 2021.
2. Enslaving 210 million Africans to the CFA Franc.
-14 sovereign nations rely on the franc backed currency in day to day economic activities.
-the franc is so useless, France doesn't even use it.
3. Looting precious metals and rare earth elements;
-France has over 2,437 tonnes of gold, estimated value of 315 billion euros- extracted from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, CAR, DRC and other west African states.
-on top of controlling uranium, titanium, ruby, oil and gas prospects across Africa.
4. Hundreds of billions charged to all former colonies in colonial taxes;
-because destroying Benin, Malian and other flourishing civiliziations, genociding Senegalese, Malagasy, Algerians, Moors of Morocco and Mauritania and Bantus in Puntland...was for their benefit.
5. Controlling arable land, raw materials and natural resources, while forcing nations to prioritise French multinationals in tenders and sale of agricultural produce.
6. Billions of euros in financial reserves of former francophone states, withheld at the French Treasury.
7. JNIM terrorist organization funded, armed and trained by the french foreign legion to collapse whole states, as is currently happening in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Chad and Central Africa Republic
France is not a colleague to Africa, she is the oppressor.
