Hot take: Chat + MCP doesn’t make your app agentic.
Pick a task your customer repeats and build an agent loop around it.
The key to this business is to bundle subscription perks for non-ai. Balance between tokenmaxxing by power users and squezeeing more from occasional users
Theo's right about everything but he's missing one thing.
Right:
- It is (annoyingly) a good model. Reality would be simpler if this weren't the case, but no, it's actually very good.
- It is horrendous at UI
- It speaks very nicely; feels smart, heavy, and big
Wrong:
- THERE IS NO SUBSCRIPTION SUBSIDY. OMG THIS THING IS FUCKING EXPENSIVE.
Theo seemingly has an API key that is giving him unlimited access to the model so he wasn't able to get a good sense for pricing.
I first started with the $5 plan, couldn't finish a single turn, upgraded to $15 plan, couldn't finish more than a couple turns, upgraded to the $50 plan, couldn't finish the whole request, and finally upgraded to the $200 plan an hour ago, and IT'S GONE (5 hr limit).
Afaict there is no actual reason to use Muse Wonder (Full) at all at these prices.
If Meta's $200 subscription quota is really what it costs to use AI for coding (and it probably is), then we are all in for a very, very rude awakening when the token subsidies end.
6 months ago they are announced to fire 1 100 people and after that they acquire companies like void zero and deno, crazy
The team behind @Deno_Land, including @rough__sea (he knows a bit about Node.js), is joining @Cloudflare.
They’ll help make Workers better for Node.js developers and advance workerd as a core primitive for what comes next. cfl.re/4zlzlSa
What if the app you’re building today is obsolete three months from now?
People used to stay on one screen for almost three minutes. Today, it’s 47 seconds.¹ Nearly half of employees already describe work as chaotic and fragmented.²
So how is your app supposed to survive?

This especially sucks for people that learn by doing things. We are doomed ☠️
Seems like viebcoded app is ONLY a little bit less secure than official aws sdk
We hacked the AWS JavaScript SDK, a core library powering the entire @AWScloud ecosystem - including the AWS Console itself 🤯
How did we do it? Just two missing characters was all it took.
This is the story of #CodeBreach 🧵👇
Too many tools, too much glue.
Stack Overflow 2024: ~33% of pro devs frustrated by stack complexity; 22.8% by the number of tools.
I wrote about Motia — a “step” toward unifying the backend stack:
If you could delete one piece of your backend glue stack (queues? cron? orchestration? realtime?), what would it be?
I wrote about @motiadev — a "step" into unifying the stack, bundles: api + jobs + workflows + events + shared state + streaming.

📝 Motia: make backend development boring (and that's the point)
