Remember when Israel killed four kids playing on a Gaza beach in 2015. The children were playing hide and seek in a fisherman’s hut. The IDF claimed it was a Hamas compound.
A reporter for The Guardian witnessed it.
The IDF investigated & cleared themselves of any wrongdoing.

I should add it's not just Muslims who are angry about this.
I have been contacted by several Labour councillors (many not Muslim) who say they have been told to remove tweets expressing solidarity with Palestinians & warned against attending Palestine solidarity demonstrations.

In 2021 Welsh Gov rejected a petition to recognise Palestine, stating they do not have authority to do so, the powers are with the UK Gov.
I'd argue that Welsh Gov could have done A LOT more.
They had/have the power to speak.
