People think I am anti-AI. I use AI everyday and is useful in many scenarios.
What I am taking a stand against is the redpilled AI hype. People praising AI to be the miracle machine that is perfect and will solve ALL our problems.
So far it has introduced more problems than solved. But sure it has interesting and useful use cases
People be like “yeah but did you provide it with 78 workflows, and skills and agent.md, and AI framworks”?
Not the point of this experiment. I wanted to see what someone without engineering skills is able to get out of it by just vibe coding.
What y’all are describing isn’t vibe coding. It’s AI-assisted engineering. Something entirely different.

I vibe coded a project over the last week or so, just to see what the experience is like. And it’s nice to it’s really nice.
You just tell it what you want and it does it. You don’t need to worry about anything.
Today I looked at the code for the first time. Holy fuck!
2000 line components that could be at least 7 separate components.
Randomly in some places stopped using the SDK and rawdogged fetch to the API for some reason.
Everything is a fucking div.
Almost doesn’t use any of the NuxtUI components (even the starter was established as such).
The code where a I needed little bit of logic is horrendously inefficient and hard to maintain.
This list goes on and on.
My point is: Vibe coding is VERY cool! If you don’t plan on shipping it to production.
If you want to ship it, you need to either refactor all of it or do diligent code reviews from the start.
Or you know… just code like a normal fucking human with some assistance for the boring parts.

If you care about your customers, do check your codebase for bugs and vulnerabilities.

Turns out the positive contact for one of the batteries didn’t make contact with the battery.
