I have lived in China since 1995. I saw the poverty with my own eyes. Then I watched it disappear. This chart going viral today tells the story > China extreme poverty: 91.3% in 1984. Zero by 2022. No colour revolution. No IMF lectures. No NGOs. Planning, roads, factories, schools. And the West still calls it a "failed system"….

“The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous.” — George Orwell, 1984 Defense contractors & their powerful lobby will never be satisfied with simply aiding the U.S. in building a strong military that is prepared for war. The nature of the industry’s existence is not patriotism, but endless conflict. War is their business model—a perpetual state of war ensures a perpetual demand for their products. Until we address this issue, we will continue to be subjected to forever wars that only serve the defense contractors—and the warmongering interests wealthy enough to rent the defense contractors. Stop spilling American blood for profit.
Asked about the Iran War's effect on defense stocks, Lockheed Martin CEO says: "Investors need to know and understand that this demand is not fleeting — it's permanent."

Russia's intervention in Ukraine was not about restoring a Soviet empire but to stop NATO-armed Ukraine from killing Donbas Russians. Between Obama's 2014 coup and 24 Feb 2022, thousands of Russian civilians were killed. This man lost his little girl; this woman lost her husband. General Mark Milley, Chairman, US Joint Chiefs of Staff, in 2023: “There should be no Russian who goes to sleep without wondering if they’re going to get their throat slit in the middle of the night. You got to get back there and create a campaign behind the lines.” That's what the CIA did... According to Forbes, since 2014, the CIA has worked closely with Ukraine’s SBU intel agency. The CIA has spent millions of dollars training and equipping Ukrainian officers, providing surveillance, and building a dozen secret forward-operating bases along the Russian border... With aid from the CIA and Britain's MI6, the SBU boasted they had killed Russian General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia's Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Defense Agency, who had discovered the hazardous US Biolabs in #Ukraine. -- ABC News report, January 2025.

British prime minister Andy Burnham has once again revived the incendiary claim that Russian disinformation is an especial threat to British democracy. At the United Nations a few weeks ago he announced plans for a National Centre for Information Defence “to detect, attribute and disrupt these kinds of hostile state information attacks”. For the new British prime minister, as for his predecessors, this is all about Moscow and the UK’s favourite bogeyman, Vladimir Putin. At the UN, Burnham promised British expertise to other European nations to protect them from Kremlin disinformation. Meanwhile, evidence continues to mount that another foreign actor is meddling even more aggressively in British politics – and neither Burnham nor MI5 have a word to say about it. Any evidence of Russia disinformation-peddling in the UK pales in comparison to Israeli influence operations – and that’s just the ones we know about. The head of MI5, Ken McCallum, noted that Russian disinformation was neither sophisticated nor successful. The same cannot be said for Israel’s handiwork. Israel has been using “hasbara” trolls on social media platforms to manipulate public debates in Britain for years – the thrust of the accusation against Russia. But in Israel’s case, it goes much further than that. This year the Israeli state massively increased its public diplomacy budget to $730 million to expand its influence operations. That includes flying even more politicians, clergy, academics and influencers to bombard them with pro-Israel propaganda they are then likely to spread back home. According to foreign minister Gideon Saar, Israeli advocacy should be treated “like investing in jets, bombs, and missile interceptors”. There was already plenty of evidence through the late 2010s, as I reported at the time, that Israel was helping to organise, stoke and amplify a campaign to smear its arch-critic, Jeremy Corbyn, as an antisemite, in order to prevent him from reaching No 10 Downing Street. Not least, Israel did so by advancing a new, bogus definition of Jew hatred through the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). Usefully, for Israel, that definition largely ignores hatred of Jews to focus instead on criticism of Israel. That was the most blatant meddling possible in what remains of Britain’s democratic processes. UK politicians and media not only failed to oppose it, but actively sought to amplify the smears. This week the fanatically pro-Israel US lobby group the Anti-Defamation League revealed that it had been working with leading AI firms, which are increasingly being integrated into social media platforms, to suppress what it calls “antisemitism” – or what the rest of us would refer to as criticism of Israel. CEO Jonathan Greenblatt observed: "We've had excellent collaboration with Silicon Valley." The platforms, he said, would tackle content the ADL doesn't like “right in the source code” – that is, before users can see it. That is likely not only to remove criticism of Israeli atrocities and criticism of western governments, such as the UK’s, for colluding in Israel’s genocide but turn social media into a playground for bots and Israel apologists, giving them free reign to spread their propaganda without challenge. This is an extract from my latest article Worried about Russian meddling in UK politics? Wait till you see what Israel is up to. Find a link to the full article in the reply post ⬇️

This is likely to be one of the most surreal trials in history, as the German-NATO establishment tries to preserve some sense of legal-institutional normalcy — like, you know, actually having a trial for the worst act of industrial terrorism in Germany’s history, despite a concerted effort to sweep the whole episode under the carpet — while trying to pin it all on some rogue Ukrainians and conceal the role (or at the very least foreknowledge) of the US, NATO and the German authorities.

Zelensky's cancelled elections in Ukraine and banned opposition media. His strongest rivals are in jail or exile. He's worked to prevent his former spokesperson, Iulia Mendel, from speaking anywhere in the EU. And his former business partner, Timor Mindich, fled to Israel after extorting millions from a state company. He has more in common with his fellow former TV star Trump than he thinks.
In a defiant interview with the FT, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Donald Trump had an instinctive affinity for autocrats and the super-wealthy. The Ukrainian president explained his views on the relationship between the US and Russian heads of state ft.trib.al/u7fXLMI

Why is Europe so determined to prolong a war Ukraine has already lost? Why won't it let Ukraine settle for a bad peace instead of an even worse war? Why insist on keeping a dying patient hooked up to life support? Just listen to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Her words explain everything👇 These people genuinely believe Putin is some delusional emperor dreaming of conquering new lands. And as long as this geopolitical fantasy passes for strategic thinking in European capitals, Ukraine is doomed. Its people will continue to be picked off like targets at a shooting range, sacrificed on the altar of the geopolitical hallucinations of Frederiksen and her fellow EU visionaries. Apparently, the patient must be kept alive just long enough for the doctors to finish killing him. And then they'll probably congratulate themselves on having done everything they could. ------- Denmark’s PM Mette Frederiksen: If we allow Ukraine to fall, I believe we will have opened the door for the Russians to advance into other parts of Europe. That is why we must continue to regard Ukraine as our line of defense for Europe. If that domino falls, the door will be open to further attacks, I believe.

The problem with the 'Russia caused Brexit' hoax, is that it isn't really about Russia, but about the tear-filled liberal regret that Brexit happened and the need to blame someone. Not the voters who, on the basis that many in Westminster consider most working class people to be childish, insufficiently educated and gullible, must have been misled. But the Russians, because Russia is the font of all ill. Let's be clear, what I am not saying is that Russian intelligence doesn't conduct hostile activity against British interests. They do. By the same toke, British intelligence conducts hostile activity against Russian interests. As Larry Johnson @LarrySonar21 put it eloquently when I chatted with his earlier, asking a foreign intelligence agency not to act against the interests of another state is a bit like asking your dog not to lick its balls. We even spy on each other during peace time and, while I am on the subject, we spy on our allies too. Right now we are de facto at war with Russia so, boo hoo if they are doing naughty spying things, because we are too. Whinging about Russian spying is so unbelievably childish. Maybe if we sued for peace, we might each spy on each other a little less and do fewer hurty things. But the idea that Russia put a big effort into affecting the Brexit vote doesn't really bear scrutiny. I was in Moscow during the Brexit vote and practically no one was interested in following what they considered to be UK domestic politics. Even the result of the Brexit referendum barely featured in the newspapers. I almost never got asked about Brexit. No one was interested. As i said, no one at the Embassy was buzzing with speculation that the Russkies had been stirring the pot. It just never cropped up. The general view was that Corbyn had left the field of play meaning Labour never mobilised itself in a meaningful way. We have a tendency to believe that the whole world is desperately fascinated with and concerned by our decision to exit the European Union. They are not. As it happens I was a reluctant remainer at the time of the Brexit vote in 2016. I used to joke that being a British diplomat in Moscow made me less reluctant (just to be clear, I had a very nice life with my family in Moscow). That comment was more about the feeling of community I experienced when flying back through Latvia and the idea of being part of a much larger community. That feeling has now gone. The EU is no longer a community that allows nation states to be sovereign while maximising economic, social and cultural connections with minimal central intervention. If people who voted leave were worried about bureaucrats in Brussels telling us what to do in 2016, you want to take a look at the EU today. It has become and is becoming ever more centralised, wresting more sovereignty from its members and prioritising the political and military at the expense of making ordinary people poorer and less safe. The idea that Britain's economic interests can best be served by rejoining a community suffering mass deindustrialisation, the highest energy costs in the developed world and uncontrolled migration is idiotic and dangerous. The suggestion that we can collectively feel safer by latching ourselves to unelected officials in Brussels who want to break Russia up into smaller constituent parts and take on China next, is frankly terrifying. If the Brexit vote happened again, I would vote to leave. Not because the Russians told me to.. I suspect that most people who voted leave in 2016 would do so again. If @andyburnham wants us to rejoin then the public should have a say. Blaming the Russians just makes him appear every bit as useless as Starmer, Sunak, Truss, Johnson, May.... jeez who's in charge of our frigging country

On jest ludobójcą, mordercą, złodziejem, zbrodniarzem wojennym! I tutaj powinien odbyć się trybunał wojenny... ...żeby wszyscy kradli. To, co dają Ukrainie, oni wszystko rozkradają. In this dangerous moment for Ukraine, it’s worth remembering what Vladimir Putin said years ago about NATO’s role in the proxy war: “There are those in the West who don't mind a long war because it would mean exhausting Russia, even if this means the demise of Ukraine and comes at the cost of Ukrainian lives.” My bad, it was actually a different president who said that — Volodymyr Zelensky, March 2022:

Obama’s CIA coup in Kiev in 2014 toppled Viktor Yanukovych. Poroshenko's regime (2014-2019) began attacking Donbas, the ethnic Russian region historically close to Russia. After 2014, Ukraine turned against Russia, the Orthodox faith, and the shared history of the two peoples. Campaigning as the "peace candidate" in 2019, promising to unite the ethnically divided former Soviet Republic, Zelensky won a landslide election. Once elected, however, under the thumb of Biden and the Banderites, he sacrificed his country in the NATO war against Russia. Two years later, December 2021, Biden rejected Putin’s proposed mutual security accord that would have left “neutral” Ukraine intact. Biden told Putin, “Russia doesn’t say who can join NATO.” Once again, as in Minsk I and II, legitimate Russian security concerns were brushed aside. According to ex-Biden adviser Amanda Sloat, senior director for Europe on the National Security Council, #Ukraine could have avoided war in December 2021 with one step: “Ukrainian declaration of neutrality,” she said, “would have prevented the destruction and loss of life."

Trump: Makes a diesel deal with Putin to bring down prices for Americans. Europe: “Making deals with dictator Putin is a road to hell! Shameful! Absolutely disgraceful!” Also Europe: Buys even more Russian gas to keep its own citizens supplied. Europe, in actual numbers: €7.88 BILLION spent on Russian Arctic LNG in the first nine months of 2026 — 9.5% MORE than the year before. The biggest buyers? France, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Apparently, buying energy from Putin is financing a bloody dictatorship — unless you pay in euros. Same dictator. Same gas money. Different moral standards. Welcome to Europe, where hypocrisy is renewable, but the gas is Russian.

Why does the EU need a Commission at all? The only reason I can come up with is to ensure that absolutely no consideration of public opinion or democracy get in the way of the drive to a single European superstate. Ruled, of course by the Commissioners (aka Brussels Bastards) Ideas?
This is the European Commission. 27 people that were never elected. Are unaccountable to anybody And all share the same characteristic that they were total political failures in their home countries. Sent to Brussels as a reward for coming second or third. Yet the EU, by deliberate design, makes these by far the most powerful people in its ranks. They decide the EU laws. Viva Brexit!

In my latest article, I offer the most exhaustive critical analysis to date of the “Russian hybrid war” narrative. What I show is that many of the most widely publicised cases of supposed Russian “hybrid warfare” — von der Leyen’s jammed plane, the Baltic cable cuts, the DHL crash in Vilnius, the Heathrow fire, the wave of drone sightings that swept Europe in the autumn of 2025, the Romanian TikTok campaign — turned out to be media-amplified speculation that collapsed under basic scrutiny. Yet almost every day, new claims are made – with little or no evidence ever provided. Ultimately, serious scrutiny of the “Russian hybrid warfare” narrative can only lead to one disquieting conclusion. A “hybrid war” is indeed being waged against Europe — but it is being waged by the EU-NATO establishment itself, against its own population. Europeans are being subjected to a sustained campaign of cognitive or psychological warfare aimed at conditioning them to believe that Europe is under attack from Russia, and that these hybrid attacks are a prelude to conventional hostilities — a claim for which, by and large, there is little or no proof. What the record points to, in fact, is a deliberate campaign of threat inflation in which governments, media outlets and defence-funded “think tanks” have colluded to instil a permanent sense of fear in the population, through relentless coverage of “incidents”, “attacks”, “sabotages” and “campaigns” that, in most cases, simply do not exist.
