it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself

My personal banker from Standard Bank is always a text message away. Also assists that I know them on a personal level. It’s actually the only way to get things done these days. Have someone in the inside, assist with their occasional lunch & sometimes fuel for better deals…
There is no point in having a personal banker at FNB. None.

Wait, before you laugh at South Africa or complain about the statistics, I'd like to remind us of something. There is always the need to know the metrics used in arriving at certain figures before making our conclusions. South Africa, just like most African countries with large population is said to have an alarming rate of youth unemployment because, those stats only take note of those working in the formal sector. African countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia etc have a large chunk of their population who work in the informal sector which is often not included when taking records of employment rate. Our creative industry for instance has a lot of youths who are dollar millionaires yet, are by definition considered as unemployed. Do you know that, to the government, all the forex traders, social media influencers, independent content creators, freelancers, remote tech gurus, social media managers ,music artists and producers etc are considered to be unemployed? I'm not trying to say those figures are fake, no. I just want you to understand that they might not always reflect the true picture of things.
