I learned this morning that some Nigerian national who has been living in this complex for more than 10 years was beaten to death by the South African police.
No one knows what the altercation was about. He was handcuffed at the time. And it happened in front of women and children alike.
Is this now what passes for justice in South Africa? I would like to know what the @DOJCD_ZA Minister @mmkubayi has to say about this. Or the @SAPoliceService Minister @Prof_Cachalia, for that matter.
It seems to me we are turning into a dictatorship more by the day.

This is why I'm not a fan of assimilation and letting any and everyone in. This is 3rd world type of activity. Just go to the local store and get yourself some deer meat. The whole leg aspect of this threw me. Roadkill is ๐คข๐คข๐คข๐คข๐คข๐คข

A female student from the Faculty of Social Sciences at KyambogoUniversity, pursuing a Bachelorโs degree in Public Administration and Resource Governance, was attacked this evening while returning home from an evening lecture through the SOBE Gate.
She was reportedly assaulted and badly beaten before being left in the bush, where she was later discovered by a fellow student. Her gadgets were taken during the attack.
She was first taken to a medical facility and later referred to Naguru Hospital. Due to the severity of her condition, she was subsequently referred to Mulago Hospital, where she is currently receiving emergency medical attention.
We pray for her recovery and call for heightened security around campus, especially during evening hours.
