Another AI coding tool just launched 👀 @tryAlanAI wants to coordinate Claude Code, Codex and Cursor so developers spend less time babysitting agents. Interesting direction. But I'm more curious about one thing: will it actually save time and money, or just add another subscription? 😅

Quick question: Do you actually know how much you spent this month? Not just the big bills. The small UPI payments, snacks, subscriptions, and random purchases too. We're building MaPa Money, a free offline Android app to make tracking all that easier. We're still a small app, and every new user and honest bit of feedback matters. Give it a try 👇 play.google.com/store/apps/d…

Sometimes I just want to switch off my laptop, pack a bag and disappear into the mountains for a few days 🏔️ No meetings. No notifications. Just nature.

Developers, what's one thing you wish you knew before building your first app? 👀 I'll go first: building it was easier than finding users 😅

What's one small thing that can instantly make a bad day better? For me, a quiet walk somewhere with a nice view 🌿

What's something you used to think was a waste of money, but now happily pay for? I'll go first: peace of mind 😅

Anyone else building something alongside a full-time job? 👀 I'm a software developer from India, building my own apps in the evenings and weekends. Into AI, tech, indie apps, nature and travel. Would love to meet more developers, indie builders and people from different parts of the world. What are you working on these days?

I paid for a higher AI coding plan thinking I'd get more uninterrupted development time. The quota still ran out much faster than I expected. Now I'm spending time deciding which tasks actually need an expensive model. AI coding is fast. Managing its cost is becoming another developer skill. Anyone else facing this?

OpenCodex is getting attention as developers look for ways around AI coding tool limits. It lets users route coding tasks across different AI models and providers. I can understand the interest. When you're building apps regularly, usage limits and costs can interrupt your workflow. But switching models doesn't automatically solve everything. Cost, reliability and account security still matter. Are we reaching a point where developers will choose AI tools based on usage limits rather than coding quality? AI helps us write code faster. But does that always mean we're building better software? I've noticed that generating code is only one part of the work. Reviewing, testing and fixing things still take time. Are AI coding tools actually saving you time overall, or just moving the work somewhere else?

AI coding tools are powerful, but there's another side we shouldn't ignore: security. TechCrunch reported that attackers compromised part of OpenCode's online platform, affecting 1.4% of its users. Some users reportedly faced unexpected AI API charges. As someone using AI agents for development, this caught my attention. We're often focused on how much time AI saves. But protecting API keys, monitoring usage, and controlling costs matter too. Faster development shouldn't mean ignoring security. Source: techcrunch.com/2026/10/19/ha…

A little throwback to my Hong Kong trip! 🇭🇰❤️ Woke up to this view from my room one morning. 🏙️☁️ Tall buildings, a cloudy sky, and the sea stretching out between them. I remember just standing by the window, enjoying the view before starting the day. 🌊 Good morning, @X! ☀️📸

Good morning, X! ☀️☕ A lesson I'm learning while building apps alongside my full-time job: Being productive isn't about how much code you write or how many AI agents you run. It's about solving the right problem without creating three new ones. Sometimes, one carefully planned change saves hours of debugging. New week, fresh start. Let's build something meaningful! 🚀

Vibe coding is trending again. As a developer building apps with AI agents, I've learned one thing: Generating code is getting easier. Making sure that code actually works is still hard. A feature can take 10 minutes to generate and hours to debug, test, and stabilize. AI is a powerful tool, but understanding what you're building still matters. What's your experience with vibe coding?

Good night, X! 🌙❤️ The moon playing hide and seek with the clouds tonight. ☁️✨ Captured this beautiful sky just now. There's something peaceful about watching the clouds slowly drift across the moon. Sometimes, all you need is to look up. 🌌 Sleep well, everyone!

AI can write code faster than ever. But faster code doesn't always mean faster development. Debugging, testing, reviewing, and fixing AI-generated mistakes still take time. As someone building apps alongside a full-time job, I'm learning that the real win isn't generating more code. It's shipping reliable software with less wasted effort. Are AI coding tools actually saving you time overall?
