CISF’s Swift Response: Suspicious Person Apprehended While Attempting to Escape at Metro Station!
Alert CISF personnel at Jama Masjid Metro Station of DMRC sprang into action when a passenger attempted to flee after a suspicious, dense object appeared on the XBIS screen during baggage screening.
Demonstrating quick reflexes and effective coordination, CISF personnel immediately pursued and apprehended the fleeing passenger near the exit gate.
Further examination of his belongings revealed an unidentified semi-solid substance concealed in a stitched portion of his undergarment. The passenger, who claimed to be an NRI residing in Kuala Lumpur, along with his belongings, was handed over to the police for further investigation.
The swift action and alertness of CISF personnel highlight their prompt response and commitment to ensuring metro security.

Pro-Pakistan & Anti-India Kashmiri Muslims who once raised “Kashmir Banega Pakistan” slogans would never talk about this.
After Maharaja Hari Singh acceded to India with “Sheikh Abdullah's approval”, Pro-Pakistan Muslims in Jammu's Poonch belt picked up arms against Maharaja. Armed rebellion invites an armed response & that is what led to their killings. They were combatants, not innocent civilians

Kashmir acceded to India with Sheikh Abdullah's (local Kashmiri Muslim leader) approval. The conflict today exists only in the heads of Pro-Pakistan & Islamic extremist. India & Pakistan interest is in the land of Kashmir, not in appeasing a radicalised local population
Peace in Kashmir, or for that matter, across the entire South Asian region and beyond, lies in the resolution of the Kashmir question. No power on earth can ensure peace in this region without addressing Kashmir’s unresolved status. Kashmir is far more complex than you could ever imagine. It can turn the entire South Asian region into ashes at any moment! So, you don't have to "ensure peace in Kashmir" but "ensure peace from Kashmir" and, again, that will only come when the conflict is resolved to the satisfaction of its local population!

Extremely distressing that former militants well into their sixties from Ratnopora, Pulwama are being hunted down & detained at the Kaka Pora SOG camp. These men who have shunned the path of violence decades ago are now grandfathers.
What purpose do these arbitrary detentions serve apart from causing immense trauma to families who are trying to move on? Request DGP J&K to intervene immediately by ensuring their release
Kashmir is 99% Muslim today because Kashmiri Hindus were terrorised out in the 90s. The handful who remain face threat letters & targeted killings. And yet, Durga Puja celebrations cause demographic anxiety & paranoia amongst Kashmiri Muslims. Insecure is an understatement!
Slapping a woman police officer on duty is not protest, it's a criminal offence. In this case, Police has been empowered to register an FIR & arrest without a warrant & the offence is non-bailable. The right to protest does not include assaulting public servants.
