A gig in one of my favourite cities for one of my favourite bands secretcitysalon.com/2024/03/…
Gigs I organised last October, for 2 of the best voices in music secretcitysalon.com/2024/03/…
My first tweet for a while is inspired by seeing @magpiesmusicuk last night. A very exciting band. You should see them if you can. I wrote about the gig on my blog:

I saw @DonMcGlashan@Bushhallmusic last night. I have loved his music since I first saw the Mutton Birds in 1995. Don is one of the World's very greatest songwriters. His London show was brilliant and exhilarating.
Went to @hgfestival near Bury St Edmunds last weekend. It was a fantastic little festival, devoted exclusively to acts from East Anglia. The highlight for me was @fickasfieves1 , a very very exciting band - great performers and every song in their set was excellent.
On Friday I saw the great Nigel Mazlyn Jones play at @GuildfordInst - Don't miss the chance to see him if you get the chance - his music is enthralling
Wonderful, inspiring music last night @JW3London for #IWD18 Thanks: @MicheleStodart @GreenNote @AfroThunderRae @SophieAlloway @kathwilliamsuk @emilybarkerhalo @janesiberry @RenHarvieu @KarimaFrancis & Kate St John
I've been listening to The Study on Falling, new album by @AsafAvidan this weekend. It's a truly great album. Really looking forward to seeing him @UnionChapelUK on 8th May.
Last night saw @LucyLucyfarrell @teamwesty. Loved her delightfully delicately melancholy songs. She has a unique style and I look forward to her first solo album with huge excitement.
Last night saw @emilybarkerhalo, a great singer/songwriter with an amazing voice, accompanied by the brillliant @LukasDrinkwater playing @Olympic_Cinema - spellbinding
Saw the beyond brilliant Katell Keineg @GreenNote last night, accompanied by @ghbonello, who opened for her with his own exceptional songs
The Pretty Things @229thevenue on Friday night were amazing. Great band sounding fantastic - see them if you can.
Loved @HiCamilaFuchs, supporting the brilliant @TomagaTwit at @TheJazzCafe on Friday
Was thrilled to be touching the stage in front of Simeon's bank of electronica at Silver Apples London gig
Loved the hypnotic ,enveloping sound of the brilliant @TomagaTwit supporting Silver Apples on Wednesday night
