i'm so glad this show exists but it breaks me a little bit when i go to recommend it and i do not have the language to express how important and good this show is. people are like oh that's cool glad you liked it i'll put it on my list. no tape your eyes open and sit down NEOW
mando and grogu was fine but i just imagine disney execs combing through twitter and reddit like “yes Yes YES absolutely no one is talking about our new star wras movie we did it finally”

“I actually met the real Chewbacca once, it was very strange. No, I don’t mean like some guy in a big furry suit, I mean the real REAL Chewbacca. Stop fucking laughing, Leonard, I’m fucking serious. Stop it right now. Wipe that fucking smile off your face.”

Just got back home from seeing Galaxy’s Edge with the kids. Kind of funny seeing it now, post-TROS but also post-Andor.
I remember when photos of Galaxy’s Edge first started coming out, my fandom was peaking, and it seemed like the most amazing experience I could ever imagine
I feel ready to cautiously re-engage, maybe, possibly. I know it will never be 2017 again. Even I felt the same about Star Wars, twitter itself has changed too much for that. There are systemic obstacles that would prevent that sort of size and breadth of community again.
