to symbiotic nature of intensity, directionality and consistency -
reactions are the result of energetic collisions of atoms/molecules
collisions must be energetic enough and at the proper orientation to break the stable electron configuration of the reactants
just because something wins the popularity contest now…
doesn’t mean it will not have to go through the stages of a hype cycle
doesn’t mean it will emerge a victor as it ages
traditional industries have a lot to benefit from blockchain infrastructure as long as the tech works so well…they do not realize its blockchain infrastructure
the prime hypothesis of utility in prediction markets is rooted in them acting as an information gauge and an hedge instrument
heavy retail participation means that all available information gets aggregated but that does not necessarily mean it is all relevant information
prediction markets may capture overconfident market consensus with speed - moat for institutions as a time signal
this speed however is subject to alpha decay risk
Are prediction markets doomed to retail captivity?
it is supremely evident that unlocking liquidity is key for prediction markets.
however, "growing liquidity" institutionally isn't inevitable - it requires either more retail (which institutions can't rely on) or more institutions (circular dependency)
this brings the key question “Will prediction markets gain sufficient institutional traction to pump extensive liquidity into the system”
idk…all these things stop seeming hard when you just truly operate from curiorisity and a pure love of what you are doing
“you are once both the quiet and confusion of my heart” kinda energy

In addition to reviewing every book in the western and eastern literary canon, I will be reviewing every single work of art produced to date, starting with these paleolithic cave drawings. Review coming soon
there will be waves when the urge to reinvent is so strong and undeniable
however there is a tension between reinvention and authenticity
I figure most people spend a large portion of their lives trying to figure that balance out
time to bring in metal future options @kalshi
JUST IN: KALSHI STARTED ONCHAIN AS A CRYPTO COMPANY
“Kalshi started onchain at YC. it was crypto-first but… it was illegal… so we brought it offchain… and went through a 3 year long process of legalizing it” — @mansourtarek_

In prediction markets, regulation and liquidity are the two killer forces shaping everything: survival, structure, and optionality
Kalshi Vs Polymarket
@Kalshi just flipped @Polymarket for weekly volumes two weeks in a row and is now doing a majority of Prediction Market volumes
a) Potential Reasons Kalshi is pulling ahead:
- the @j0hnwang effect
- Robinhood integration
- Sports season has begun in the US which drives a lot of volumes
b) What can Polymarket do:
- Focus on more partnerships and integrations
- Strategic Marketing to capture a greater share of sports volumes
- More hires and acquisitions
uncapped downside for consumption and uncapped upside for creation

teach kids to have audacity at a young age….
wouldn’t be against overhauling the current schooling system or tutoring systems afterschool to make this happen
and no, I don’t think this can be done via an AI courses personalization SaaS
this is fundamental in person change that needs to occur to teach them
1. translating statistics, risk to reward and ROI on life aspects
2. thinking to build a convex life
3. maxxing on attention economics
4. philosophy
5. some traditional pseudo code writing
I don’t need to prove a market for this exists…it does and will continue to
the thinking behind implementing this is still small…to make a radical change requires capital on physical locations, reg moat and the best of best inaccessible tutors incentivized in a creative high roi for them manner
