This is how stupid our people are. And it’s most of the population
I am selling rice for N1,000. Rice is essential for everyone to eat. Everyone is buying the rice. Suddenly a new producer comes and says rice is now N10,000. You complain and groan. He now goes “Ok I will give you loan so that you can afford the N10,000 rice”. You now jubilate and say “This man is trying. He cooked with that loan for me to be able to afford rice”
This is the tale of NELFUND.

What makes student politics in Nigeria so Nigerian?
Campaigns, alliances, godfathers and kingmakers—the world of campus politics can feel remarkably familiar.
How did student politics come to mirror the best and worst of Nigerian democracy?

I really liked that goal tbh... Bent it really well and ensured this useless manager gets sacked!

I’ve no idea what the future holds for Bruno Fernandes, but since his first day he’s been the best thing at United. I’ve always found criticism of him maddening, he’s saved us again and again and again and like him, I hope he doesn’t have to keep doing that.

I know this is going to be a long thread, but here's what I really think of Bruno Fernandes.
I say a lot of things in the heat of the moment, especially when United are frustrating me, but this is my honest take on him as a player and what I think makes him so special.

Remember when United just had to play four at the back and everything would be fixed?

E go take time oo, but I swear to god everything go work out, Walahi talahi e must work out.

I'm radical about Bruno Fernandes.
If you're a ManUtd fan who holds the view that the team would be better without him, I consider you an idiot.
Because that is an immensely foolish view that's unsupported by common sense.

We’re solving the Olodo uprising pandemic, one NYSC at a time. That’s our contribution to society.
That’s why @Tunde_OD, @hackSultan and I are launching a ₦250 Million Scholarship Fund to help recent graduates gain real, in-demand tech skills that lead to jobs.
Each successful applicant will receive a ₦160,000 scholarship towards a 9–12 month AltSchool Africa diploma in any course of their choice. Beyond technical training, participants will also receive career support and internship/job opportunities through Jobs59.
We also know that learning without a laptop is a major barrier, so we’ll be providing laptops to a select number of scholarship recipients through an additional application process.
If you know a recent graduate who deserves this opportunity, share this post with them.

There’s actually nothing more frustrating than someone who refuses to date you but also doesn’t want you dating anyone else. The moment you start moving on, they suddenly become jealous and start acting like you a bad person for choosing yourself first
God will punish you

Just look at Master Chisom Unachukwu.
It’s rewarding to be a teacher.
He said the dream he couldn’t achieve as a student, he is now achieving it as a teacher.

This might be long, so if your attention span is messed up, maybe don’t worry 😭
The olodo uprising isn’t just about tiktok guys like Peller and twitter “influencers” like Neo Official, it has infiltrated the music industry too, cos somebody needs to explain to me how “your body na meatpie” made it past a studio session, past mixing, and into a song that people are streaming millions of times😭
Somebody wrote that down, somebody else heard it and was like yeahh that works and an entire chain of professionals signed off on comparing a woman’s body to a pastry, please now😂
And don’t even get me started on “when I look into your eyes all I see is your waist”. Someone actually sang that, with their full chest. Catch your fav’s sub o, your fav has bars like that and you’ve been streaming it on repeat, chai, but stanship is another conversation entirely
And that’s not even the worst of it. We’ve had songs that are just one word repeated for like two minutes straight like the artist got tired halfway through writing and just submitted what he had😭
This part actually disturbs me, some of these artists used to drop genuinely good music. But then they’ve clocked that this olodo content is what’s selling right now and they switched up on purpose. Cos how does someone go from “love nwantiti” to “yansh yansh yansh”😭. They know exactly what they’re doing
Honestly, the whole thing doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense to me but yeah kilolo your body na meat pie😔🙏🏾
