There is a difference between a renovation, remodeling, facelift & capacity upgrade.
Phase 1 of Nambole then was a renovation. Phase 2 is now a remodeling (structural & floor changes), facelift (update of aesthetics) & capacity upgrade (increase in number of seats & facilities).
NAMBOLE WILL BE THE MOST RENOVATED STADIUM IN AFRICA BEFORE IT BECOMES THE MOST USABLE
UPDF Engineering Brigade was given 97 billion to renovate Nambole, so after spending 97bn, the work somehow was not approved by CAF & now the same Brigade was given another 248 billion to renovate the same Nambole again 😂
so, we renovate, remove wat we renovated, renovate again then maybe renovate the renovation?

FYI - Mandela National Stadium is not the most renovated.
Phase I was renovation and upgrade of the stadium following the failure to meet CAF standards in 2019.
Phase II is expansion and further upgrades to enable the stadium host AFCON 2027 as per CAF standards.

I went to drop off @Kasuku256’s kit for the @imarathonug on Sunday October 4th at @mandelastadium. I sat on the side & watched him & Zubeda recording #LusekeNyamNyam. A truly hilarious way to spend the morning but also watch them innovate content in the fly. Gone are the days of producers, sound engineers & the whole crew that worked on studio recordings. They were under a tree with one camera, a simple wooden table with no drawers. It is genius. We ended up doing an impromptu recording & video dropping soon on a platform near you🫣🤣. @stanbicug @OldMutualUganda @TMR_IntHospital @Nivana_Uganda @drkasenene

It should go down the history lane, that at one time, I was the only spectator that watched a football game involving @SCVillaJogoo at Mandela stadium, Nambole. I don’t know where Mr. Football was!!
