My spy-implanted ledger came from Malaysia, and had flawless shrink wrap. Even opening it, at first you don't see the implant which is cleverly hidden where the screen's padding is supposed to be. Follow Ledger's guidance to check yours: support.ledger.com/article/4…

Developers just figured out a way to hide who sent bitcoin, who received it, and how much moved, without changing Bitcoin itself. This new proposed idea is not a fork around the protocol or new cryptocurrency. This is how Bitcoin was designed, a base layer people can innovate on without asking permission. On Thursday, researcher Misha Komarov and colleagues published Shielded Bitcoin, a Zcash-style shielded pool for Bitcoin’s base layer. Encrypted notes and zero-knowledge proofs ride along in ordinary Bitcoin transactions. Separate software checks that no coins are created from nothing and none are spent twice. There is no company running the pool, no sidechain, and no soft fork. Funds go in and out through cryptographic vaults Komarov has been building, called PIPEs, so no federation has to hold the bitcoin. Miners do not enforce the privacy rules. Invalid shielded data can still land in a block, indexers simply ignore it. The trade is: Bitcoin stays conservative, and the experiment lives on top of it. If it works, private transfers arrive the way most of Bitcoin’s best ideas have, not by rewriting the constitution, but by building on the settlement layer everyone already trusts.

AI may or may not take your job, but the economic overheating from building out more data centers than offices (most of which will never be lit as there is not energy) will make your mortgage 10% soon

‼️ Two chained SSH flaws gave attackers full admin on MikroTik routers — one of them using -2 as a username. No password. No SSH key. No authentication at all. CERT Polska says it was exploited before patches shipped. Learn how it works ↓ thehackernews.com/2026/09/mi…

‼️ BREAKING: Your LG TV is eavesdropping on you. It transcribes what you say, copies what is on your screen, and scans every device on your network, and researchers say the collection keeps running after you disconnect it, uploading the moment it reconnects. LG's ad-tech arm says it out loud: "We own the glass." It pitches marketers on the ability to "own the living room," using data harvested from the TV you paid thousands for. Gamers Nexus, working with Level1Techs and independent researchers, compromised an LG G5 and turned it into a listening device: it recorded room audio while the screen appeared off and the Ethernet cable was unplugged, then exfiltrated the file once the TV was back online. LG has publicly said its TVs "do not collect, record, or store ambient conversations." Gamers Nexus found the TV converts speech to plain text and stores it in on-device logs, and that the mic window stays open 10 to 15 seconds after talking stops, sweeping up bystanders who never addressed the TV. These sets are everywhere: hospitals, waiting rooms, boardrooms, hotels. ACR keeps running even when the TV is a dumb HDMI monitor, and a compromised set can pull the audio of a call off that HDMI feed. A surgeon asked Gamers Nexus where that leaves patient confidentiality. Researchers advise disconnecting LG TVs from any network.

🚨 China-made ZBT routers ship with two factory implants. One accepts unauthenticated commands over an internet-exposed UDP service to run commands as root. The other can exfiltrate PPPoE credentials, alter DNS hijack lists, and open reverse SSH tunnels. How the implants work → thehackernews.com/2026/08/ch…

Signal's Contact Discovery automatically sends your contact list information to an SGX enclave in the cloud. V12 broke into that enclave and leaked the key, allowing the server host to decrypt everything. Two separate critical bugs: arbitrary read and RCE. Here's how. 🧵

Looking at that chart, post the ~53% drawdown from the Oct 2025 $126k ATH and July lows around $58-62k, we are in the Hope/Optimism stage of recovery. BTC just ripped 20%+ this week to ~$78k, Fear & Greed flipped to 70 (Greed) from prolonged fear, and multiple capitulation signals (VanEck 8/12) plus Cowen's midterm thesis point to accumulation underway. Still early—far from Belief or Euphoria.

You don't need an expensive 3D scanner. Your phone can be the camera. This is the idea behind photogrammetry. You simply take a bunch of pictures of an object from different angles. Then OpenScan processes those images and reconstructs the object as a 3D representation. No expensive 3D scanner needed.
