China’s PrimeBOT has formally launched its Q1 and T1 personal robots for sale, both starting at RMB19,999 (~$2.8k)
T1 is the stranger of the two, switching between an upright wheeled "humanoid" form and a quadruped configuration for indoor and outdoor use
Q1 is an 88 cm personal humanoid focused more on interaction, programmability and customization
Shipments scheduled to begin October 1st in order sequence
PrimeBOT also says its production line is running at a 2.5 minute takt time
It has partnered with Lens Technology’s robotics unit on an initial 10,000 unit scale production line covering precision parts, joint modules and final assembly
