Real-time segmentation of fibroblasts allows us to grow actin skeleton in a specified direction! Cells built @Pertzlab express optogenetic construct to activate RAC. We use @manager_micro and @napari_imaging to train a pixel classifier for segmentation on live data from scope. 🧵

Seem an appropriate cue to announce a MM2 plugin "LightSheetManager" to provide an easy interface to all light sheet microscopes, be they custom-built or from commercial parts. CC @Bin_YANG_Optics @DougPShepherd @kschink @MarijnSiemons @Maurice_Y_Lee @mattersOfLight @openspim
There is certainly a software need for this type of microscope. We will also be working on it at the Biohub. Maybe we should do a coordinated community project? @mattersOfLight @loicaroyer
