Delcy Rodríguez is going to do everything she can to get a photo with Trump or Rubio if she ends up traveling to New York—not just to try to legitimize herself; that’s the last thing on her mind.
She’ll do it because she knows that Trump and Rubio will lose a huge amount of support among Hispanics if that happens, and she’s the one most interested in seeing the Republicans lose the midterms and Trump lose power.
Things are going really well for her these days. Her political toxicity is doing enormous damage to Republicans. She knows it, and she’ll keep playing the game to bring them down.
