President Mnangagwa’s message resonates with Zimbabweans as protest action flops President Mnangagwa’s message resonates with Zimbabweans as protest action flops President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's appeal for Zimbabweans to maintain peace and disregard calls for demonstrations on 31 July appears to have resonated with many citizens, as the day passed with people largely continuing their normal activities. In his address during the ruling party's recent 395th Politburo meeting, the President urged Zimbabweans to respect the rule of law and reject calls for protests against the Government and the recently enacted Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 3) Act (CAA3). His message emphasised national unity, peace, and collective efforts toward achieving Vision 2030 and the people have heeded his call. Across the country, Zimbabweans from different sectors of society went about their daily routines without any disruptions, reflecting a preference for stability and continued economic activity as per the President’s call. President Mnangagwa reiterated that national development can only be achieved in an environment of peace and unity. He called on citizens to avoid actions that could undermine national interests, including participating in unlawful demonstrations, while encouraging them to focus on productive activities that contribute to the country's growth. Zimbabweans ignored the calls to protest which demonstrates that Zimbabweans are prioritising peace and development over political confrontation. The opposition's call for demonstrations failed to attract public support, with most citizens choosing to continue with their normal business which has been Government’s call since agitators of destruction started inciting people to demonstrate. The Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 3) Act is now part of the country's supreme law following its enactment. The amendment was processed in accordance with constitutional and legal procedures, with opportunities for both supporting and opposing views to be expressed during the legislative process. From this perspective, the conclusion of the legislative process marks the beginning of implementation, and those who opposed the amendment are encouraged to engage within the country's democratic and constitutional framework and desist from unwarranted calls for protest action. #NoTo31JulyShutdown #BusinessAsUsual #TsvagaiMari

Collective leadership means hearing different views, respecting majority decisions and carrying them forward together. ZANU PF’s strength grows when members put agreed priorities ahead of personal ambition. #Chakasimba #Vision2030 #AsakhiZim #NDS2

🇿🇼🌍 Preparations have reached an advanced stage for the historic 25th Summit of COMESA Heads of State and Government scheduled for this Thursday at the New Parliament Building in Mt. Hampden, preceded by the 19th COMESA Business Forum and Exhibition currently underway at the Rainbow Towers HICC in Harare. Running under the definitive regional theme, "𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐀," the forum successfully bridges the gap between state apparatuses and market forces by synergizing public institutions and regional policymakers with private corporate citizens, international financiers, and small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs). Guided by the Second Republic’s flagship "𝐙𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐰𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬" doctrine and its upcoming Chairmanship of the 21-nation trade bloc, Zimbabwe will utilize this strategic platform to champion an aggressive, sovereign economic strategy focused on deep value addition, local mineral beneficiation, and the systematic dismantling of obsolete trade barriers.

Suggestions that the recently concluded 23rd ZANU PF Conference produced a winner and a loser are attempts to advance narrow narratives which have no place in the Party! #Chakasimba

As we conclude this historic 23rd ZANU PF National People’s Conference here in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West Province, we stand evident by a sacred duty to deliver. Our party emerges from this indaba united, vibrant, and single-mindedly focused on the supreme goal of wholehearted service to the people of Zimbabwe. In a peaceful and united environment, let us now go back to our respective provinces and districts to explicitly explain the resolutions and discussions we have finalised here. The theme of this conference serves as our unwavering compass of measure. We have rigorously examined the state of our party, and we are reinforcing our political foundation as an engine for national transformation. We are a mass party with a rich legacy, and this conference has echoed our founding values. Upon this bedrock, we continue to deepen people-centered governance. The party's strength lies in an efficient system, solid structures, and active organs. Every single leader has a duty to be visible and directly accountable to the needs of the grassroots. In our quest to serve the nation, results are needed as our promises. We are moving swiftly from promises to delivery—from resolutions to results. The resolutions we have adopted require measurable progress, strict monitoring, and clearly established timelines. Any challenges we face must be addressed directly by us as leaders, through robust synergies, collaboration, and an open-door policy that welcomes continuous feedback. This morning, we demonstrated this exact spirit of delivery on the sidelines of our conference by commissioning life-changing infrastructure projects for our people: We commissioned the 1,271-bed state-of-the-art student accommodation facility built by the Mining Industry Pension Fund (MIPF). This US$26.1 million investment stands as secure, modern housing for our youth, advancing our vision for education. We officially commissioned the new oxygen production plant and a 100 kW solar system at Chinhoyi General Hospital to guarantee uninterrupted, life-saving green energy. We launched the Health on Wheels initiative to expand accessible healthcare directly to the communities that need it most. Under the leadership of ZANU PF, commerce and social development will continue to thrive, firmly anchored on the preservation of our armed history and liberation legacy. Let us hit the ground running with discipline and unity. United we stand, divided we fall—unity remains indispensable.

The people expect delivery. ZANU PF’s Conference agenda calls for stronger organisation and practical progress. Social media interpretations alone cannot establish a fallout and that the Second Republic has failed. #Chakasimba

The G40-era disputes should not become a template for interpreting today’s ZANU PF. Assess President Mnangagwa’s leadership through its own record, including how differing political views are handled. #Chakasimba

VP Chiwenga’s remarks deserve their full context. Drawing parallels between different political periods requires care, including examining the public hostility directed at the current leadeship during First Republic’s later years. #Chakasimba

President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 does not need endless rhetoric; it needs DOERS who deliver tangible results. True loyalty to His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa is not demonstrated through words alone, but through practical action, measurable achievements and meaningful contributions to national development. LOYALTY MUST BE DEMONSTRATED THROUGH ACTION, NOT MERE WORDS. Vision 2030 demands results, not excuses!

A party rooted in the people must keep their needs first. For ZANU PF, unity means shared responsibility and action on Conference resolutions. Assess leadership remarks in full and keep the focus on public service delivery. #Chakasimba

A speech should be judged as a whole. Claims that VP Chiwenga equated the two Republics need to account for his complete message and the different circumstances of each period. Selective excerpts can distort meaning. #Vision2030 #AsakhiZim #NDS2

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒!🇿🇼🇿🇼 The speeches delivered by President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Vice President Constantino Chiwenga at the 23rd ZANU PF People’s Conference in Chinhoyi should be read in their entirety, not selectively interpreted to manufacture a leadership rift. Both speeches touched on accountability, discipline, self-reflection and the need to turn party resolutions into tangible results. The President has emphasised the need to tackle corruption and complacency, whilst the Vice President spoke about correcting past mistakes and ensuring orderly change through established party structures. These messages are not necessarily contradictory. An organisation can review its shortcomings, demand accountability and renew itself without abandoning its leadership or its founding principles. Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 requires focus, unity of purpose and a commitment to national development. Internal reflection should not automatically be mistaken for division. Read the speeches, examine the context and judge the message on its substance.🇿🇼 #AsakhiZim #Chakasimba
