Remember when pandemics used to end? That was the ‘before times.’ Now, we’ve decided to live in perpetual crisis. Here’s why, and why it should terrify us. 🧵

Disagree with me all you want but the idea we can just continue to do next to nothing about these shootings is insane. We all agree that doing nothing is not an option so let’s do something even if it saves one life.

Eyes forever opened.
Mark Carney: The world is becoming more dangerous and divided. Heckler: Bullshit! Carney: Open your eyes. There are some outside our borders who are working to break us so they can own us. Never.

Medical schools need to play catch-up. No, MCAS is not made up by “internet doctors,” or defined by tryptase. 👇 We have mast cells everywhere. MC Disorders are comorbid with other conditions but viruses! These need to be avoided & treated. 👇
🧵 THREAD: The Mast Cell Trap Why Chronic Mast Cell Degranulation in Long COVID Is NOT a Glitch 👉It Is an Active Response to Persistent Virus 📦1) Medicine loves to box post-viral patients into diagnostic "syndromes", labeling symptoms as mysterious, idiopathic glitches. This is a diagnostic dead-end. 💩In LC, chronic mast cell degranulation is not a primary glitch. It is an active, ongoing host defense mechanism powered by persistent SC2 tissue reservoirs and continuous viral antigen shedding. 🧬🔥 🤧2) The Molecular Trigger: Why Mast Cells Degranulate Mast cells are frontline tissue sentinels wrapped around microvessels, mucosal linings, and nerve fibers. ‼️They do not dump their inflammatory contents without a direct stimulus.🛑 🔗When SC2 and its Spike protein persist in deep tissue sanctuaries (gut, vascular endothelium, bone marrow), the persistent viral Spike acts as a continuous Pathogen-Associated Molecular Pattern (PAMP). 🚨 ⛲3) The Intracellular Signaling Cascade 🦔The persistent Spike protein directly engages receptors like TLR2, TLR4, ACE2, and MRGPRX2 on the mast cell membrane. 🩹This binding triggers an internal Src / PI3K / AKT / Ca²⁺ signaling cascade, forcing the mast cell to degranulate and dump histamine, tryptase, leukotrienes, platelet-activating factor (PAF), and pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α). 🧪 🔥4) The Downstream Firestorm Because mast cells sit directly along blood vessels and nerve pathways: 🪼 Vascular Breakdown: Histamine & PAF break down endothelial tight junctions ➡️ vascular permeability, lower-body fluid pooling/edema, microclots, and local tissue hypoxia. 🤯 Neurological Irritation: Degranulation around vagal and sympathetic nerve roots ➡️ autonomic instability, neuropathic burning, and neuro-inflammation are some symptoms of this. 🪤5) The Diagnostic Trap Antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers are important for symptom control, but treating chronic mast cell degranulation as a standalone, primary illness completely misses the mark. It is like turning down a smoke alarm while leaving an electrical fire burning inside the walls. As long as the upstream viral engine and tissue reservoirs remain, mast cell degranulation will keep getting triggered. 🛑🔥 📚 The Cellular & Tissue Receipts 👉Living T-Cell Bio-Sensors Prove Ongoing Viral Reservoirs: ⚙️Method: High-resolution immune profiling of virus-specific CD8+ cytotoxic T cells. 🗺️Finding: Virus-specific CD8+ T cells remain chronically activated in Long COVID patients. Because CD8+ T cells only stay activated when they physically encounter their target antigen, this proves they are continuously hunting down persistent SARS-CoV-2 reservoirs in tissue. 👉 Bone Marrow Megakaryocytes & Platelet Shedding: ⚙️ Method: Confocal immunofluorescence (IHC/IF) staining and RNAscope in situ hybridization. 🗺️Finding: Roughly 30% of bone marrow megakaryocytes (the parent cells of blood platelets) harbor persistent SARS-CoV-2 RNA and Spike protein, continuously manufacturing and shedding virus-laden platelets into circulation that degranulate in blood vessels. 👉 Direct Tissue Staining Across Multiple Organ Systems: ⚙️Method: Immunohistochemistry (IHC), RNAscope, and droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) across gut mucosal biopsies, heart wall biopsies, and vascular tissue. 🗺️Finding: Direct visualization of persistent viral RNA and Spike protein embedded in tissue enterocytes, vascular endothelial cells, and microvessels months to years after acute recovery. #LongCovid #MCAS #LongCovidisChronicCovid

lol. Now, she’s blaming every problem her extreme incompetence has caused on immigrants she wanted but never got? Makes sense.
We have to remember in all of this that it was Premier Smith herself who wanted to double Alberta’s population from 5 million to 10 million.

Carney had lived the vast majority of his life in Canada. He had three passports because he travelled, worked, and lived abroad. He no longer has them. Brookfield wasn't "his company" he worked there for 4 years. The HQ moved, the company is still IN Canada. His family lives in the US because that's where they went to school and currently work. He doesn't want to join China. The comment about New World Order was clearly saying Trump has changed the order within the world. This is all very simple stuff, and none of it takes away from how GREAT Canada is. Happy to help!

So is it the Ukrainian refugees, the students from India the province asked the federal govt to approve, the workers brought in by EMPLOYERS - Filipinos in hotels, Mexicans on farms, Jamaican welders - who are the problem @ABDanielleSmith? Give us the details. Who do you blame?

1) A trade deficit is not a loss 2) The deficit with Canada was $27B last year, not the $90B he keeps using 3) The deficit with Canada exists because American companies buy a lot of cheap Canadian oil 4) Uh, what
Trump: I do not want to lose $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't have. They spend our money!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The statement in the video misstates the US-Canada trade deficit as a $90B loss subsidizing healthcare; the goods and services deficit was $27B in 2025 and stems mainly from US purchases of Canadian oil while Canada's system is funded by its own taxes. usafacts.org/articles/us-ca… canada.ca/en/health-cana… realeconomy.rsmus.com/market-minute-… ustr.gov/countries-regi…

Being in your 50s is honestly hilarious. 😂 One friend is a grandma, another still has a 10-year-old at home. One is celebrating 25 years of marriage, while another is dating someone who’s 25. One looks like they haven’t aged since 35, and another threw their back out just by sneezing. Some are planning retirement, others are starting over after divorce. Some are becoming empty nesters, while others are still attending school meetings and making lunches. Some are booking cruises, others are discovering dating apps for the first time. Half of us are saying, “Life is just getting started!” while the other half need three business days to recover from sleeping in the wrong position. We’re all the same age, yet somehow living completely different lives. 😂 Nobody warned us that our 50s would look this chaotic, unpredictable, and entertaining. Honestly, we deserve a group discount on therapy, multivitamins, and heating pads. 😭

No comments allowed but this is interesting & a positive step forward. Nice to see wastewater data included. Too bad the case numbers really only reflect severe cases & not the “mild” cases that create long-term harm. Prevention is key. Clean the air & mask up!
