Today was a proud moment for The Ghanaian Farmer. 🌱🇬🇭
Our team had the honour of meeting with Dr. Meshack Malo, FAO Representative in Ghana, to present the work and impact of The Ghanaian Farmer across the agricultural value chain over the past six years.
We had a very insightful conversation about potential areas of collaboration, particularly how we can strengthen the connection between FAO and young people in agriculture and create more opportunities for youth across the sector.
One of the most humbling moments for me was discovering that many people at the FAO office already knew me and the work of The Ghanaian Farmer — even though I had never met them.
Sometimes your work enters rooms before you do. ❤️
What stood out most was Dr. Malo’s passion for finding strategic and practical ways to support young people in agriculture. From our conversation, I can confidently say there is a lot for young people in the sector to look forward to.
A big thank you to Dr. Meshack Malo, the FAO Ghana Communications Team, and everyone who helped facilitate this important engagement.
Six years of telling farmers’ stories, connecting opportunities and changing the narrative around agriculture — and we are only getting started. 🌱💚
Thank you, FAO Ghana, for the warm reception and meaningful conversation.
