Technical founders love the belief that a great product sells itself.
Sorry to break the fantasy...
A valuable product with no promotion and no distribution never reaches its potential.
Programmatic AI content sites that exploded in 2023 and 2024 are mostly gone. Google, AI search, and LinkedIn have all shifted toward rewarding effort signals over volume. Most B2B marketing teams are still optimizing for output speed. b2b.marketingexpertshub.com/…
Most SaaS founders chasing affiliate placements quit after a couple of attempts. Persistency works in this case. I talked about this and other lessons that super-boosted LearnWorlds' growth back in 2017 and can teach you in 2026: b2b.marketingexpertshub.com/…
Most marketing leaders join a company and start with a rebrand.
That's a failed project from the get-go.
You have roughly 90 days of goodwill before leadership will start questionning.
I love Rory Sutherland, sometimes I feel like a fan boy listening to his interviews and while listening to this audiobook.
He comes from more traditional marketing, and truly thinks out of the box.
His book changed opened my mind to possibilities I never thought.
AI search & crawlers have broken Google Trends.
Everything seems to be trending.
And, if everything is trending, nothing is truly trending.
European B2B teams keep polishing the product while their American competitors polish the pitch.
What wins attention is Conviction -- see the big AI companies, they are nowhere near AGI and they sell the dream...
Most B2B marketers still think Reddit is for memes and tech geeks.
It is the number three most visited site in the US, and 75% of decision-makers say it shapes their view on new products more than any other source.
Quick wins in marketing are boring.
- Asset activation,
- List clean-ups, and
- Lost opportunities.
Everyone wants to do a rebrand, new campaign, a new asset.
That's how you waste time in goodwill.
Backlinks are not longer cool.
The brand experience is.
And, that's more about:
- Digital PR,
- Mentions/citations
- Positioning
European founders treat caution as a virtue.
We are not ready/small/wait and see.
Meanwhile American competitors inflate their claims to a degree that would make most European founders wince, and it works, because conviction is how you win attention in a crowded category.

Short version: It's ok to choose between a sitting or standing desk, but a standing desk does NOT substitute excercise which is what you should actually do instead of standing more! lnkd.in/guX5DqH
