Forest God VA: @PleasedByViolet Beast design and sculpting: @MavezarArt "Have you heard the legends of the god that dwells within the Vorhein mountains? For the longest time I didn’t believe it, such tall tales of an entity so powerful it controlled the weather, even the seasons! As a woman of faith, a full fledged cleric of her own right I dismissed all talk of its existence as the ravings of small villages and fanciful stories that bards would sing around the campfire. So my curiosity was piqued when I was staying with the local priesthood at a town that sat at the base of the mountains, one day a girl arrived in the square, crestfallen and sobbing, she came seeking aid for her village in the mountains, the crops were failing and the forests yielded no bounty, if they could not provide an offering to this god the settlement was surely doomed. I felt a great sense of purpose when travelling back with her to offer aid to the village, when we arrived, a great ceremony was being held in my honour, a feast with what they had left and the finest wine I had ever tasted. That should have been the first sign that I had been lured here for one purpose only. I awoke being hoisted and dragged into the woods, my head was fuzzy from whatever they had spiked the wine with, I had been dressed in white frocks with a white flower wreath nested in my hair, as they left me dazed and kneeling in some sort of ritual circle, I glimpsed this god in the flickering moonlight and I finally understood. I had not been brought here for the grace and divine gifts of my clerical station, as the beast lifted me up and stripped me of my garbs, as it set itself upon me, I accepted my place as his offering. Needless to say, I visit the Vorhein mountains every year now."
