Rewatching BARRY and man, the back-to-back of ‘Loud, Fast and Keep Going’ and ‘Know Your Truth’ is something else. Two of the best episodes of TV out there.
I loved India Donaldson’s Good One, one of my fave films of 2024, so I’m excited for this!
Haifaa Al-Mansour directed the first feature-length film to be shot entirely in Saudi Arabia, Wadjda (2012). For public scenes, she had to direct via walkie talkie from a van because she wasn’t allowed to mix with male crew.
That is a real female filmmaker. This is slop.
It’s here. The first AI feature film to screen in theatres. The first AI feature film by a female filmmaker.
Not a collection of shorts. A feature film.

Because there are no gatekeepers where there are no gates.
BOSS (2026). Coming soon to a theatre near you.
FIRST LOOK: "Black Mirror" creator Charlie Brooker returns with a new Netflix series titled "Blackmere." Rory Kinnear has joined the cast alongside Paddy Considine, Georgina Campbell and Lena Headey.
The four-part series, coming in early 2027, is described as an “absurd comedy disguised as an incredibly serious crime thriller.” “Tormented Detective John Blackmere (Considine) leaves the rain-soaked Northern city of Bleakford for London to avenge his partner’s death and catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of victims,” the plot description reads.

Apple TV sitting down Seth Rogen and Kate Dippold to tell them that they can never have The Studio and Widow’s Bay come out in the same year #Emmys
Enjoyed this article by @BenSTravis! While I'm still crossing my fingers for someone more unknown, I am curious about what kind of Bond Lowden would bring to the table.
Slow Horses star Jack Lowden is heavily rumoured to be the next James Bond – and Apple TV's spy show has been the perfect warm-up, writes @BenSTravis.

That Hollywood Reporter piece by Joseph Kahn is exactly how people like Weinstein kept being enabled in the first place. Idiots who think they’re in Entourage cheering for predators and bullies as if they’re gods.
