Beware of the fake accounts ⚠️ This isn’t me! (On the plus side, they’re promoting my book 🤣) This account I’m tweeting from is my only real account.

Bonds. Arguably the most important asset. But, what are they? And should you invest in them? If so, how? (There are 4 ways as a UK investor) All covered in my latest video 👇 Bonds - Should You Invest? (And Exactly How UK Investors Can) youtu.be/O29qr41gZro

Watching the eclipse with a pint of Guinness and decide to open Twitter. Saw this had 1 million impressions! Nice 🍺
£277m is an insane amount of money, But - and I’m not defending her here/don’t want to be that guy - I assume she would’ve paid 39.35% dividend tax on pretty much all of this? That’s ~£110m of tax for the UK government.

Bet365 CEO Denise Coates paid herself £277,000,000 this year, and £410,000,000 in 2020. This was more than 20,000x the Minimum Wage that she paid most of her workers. The betting industry needs to be taxed, heavily.

You literally just need to invest monthly - whatever you can afford to - in a global market cap weighted index fund. Not financial advice, but got me to £200k+ invested in 9 years. ~£70k of that was market gains.
You don’t need a perfect entry point. You need a longer holding period.

Mental
New from me: Young people in Britain are some of the most well-educated in the rich world, but economic stagnation means that breeds not growth but frustration. In fact, US workers who are functionally illiterate now earn roughly the same per hour as the average British worker.

Not every video is going to be a banger! And funnily enough, it seems that the ones you spend more time on - researching and scripting - end up getting less views 🤣 But if you’re on 6-figures this is a very important one! I’ll link it below 👇

I didn’t realise Stop Waiting, Start Investing made people feel this this. Wow! Blessed 🙏 🤣
Only those who read books regularly will understand this feeling.

And that’s exactly why I disagree. Just 29 Guinness per day gives you your daily iron requirement. All part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Wow. Ridiculous. If Anderson is worth £116m and Rogers £117m, surely Argos fetches at least ~£150m. Minimal international experience - granted. But does it day in day out up & down the country, including on wet Tuesday nights in Stoke.
