Curious about economic democracy? Interested in journalism's role in (closing or) opening up new social and economic possibilities?
Our founder @acjoughin sat down with the good folks at @soljourno last week to discuss the solutions coming out of the economic democracy space!
Have you been hearing more and more about the idea of "economic democracy" while reporting on responses to economic and racial equity? But what does it mean? I talked to @acjoughin for @soljourno's economic mobility newsletter this week! Take a look:

It's been so rad to witness & work with @acjoughin. @wearehearken & partners have benefitted from Aria's incredible skills, brain and passion for economic democracy, as has @Zebras_Unite. They're someone to know, & work w/ via @MakeWithCo! medium.com/zebras-unite/zebr…
Starting MakeWith took more than a little courageous intention. We couldn't have done it without the support of our friends in the @Zebras_Unite movement. 🦓✨
Grateful to @Zebras_Unite for the opportunity to share a bit about what moves me and what I'm working on.

Incredible! So grateful for all the hard work of @worker_owned and everyone who supported this bill.
CA Gov. @GavinNewsom has signed CA SB 1407, establishing an office of employee ownership in California!
