"You've turned the whole city against him!" I wish we saw more evidence of this in SM2. It's part of the struggle that leads him to quit, but everyone we meet loves Spidey - except that guy who thought he was a pizza-thief I guess.

Was Aunt May reading the Bugle? There's no other reason she has to dislike Spidey, right? It's weird though, considering him saving MJ should be public knowledge. It's unclear if Harry ever went public with why he hates Spidey, until he's drunk at the party.

Granted, I don't think it's bad if Peter *believes* people hate him because he *also* reads the Bugle. The frustration just hits better if we feel it, I think.
