This has been the 5th edition of Make or Break. We had our first ever MoB Session, a paper plane competition, and a brand new A.I. Competition. All of this would be meaningless without everyone who participated and supported us. Thank you all and see you in the future, in Porto!
Our sponsors: Doist, Life on Mars, Blip, Abyssal, TMC, Hostelworld, Byside, Hapibot, and Jumia. Some old and others new: you made this event viable. Our partners: FEUP, AlienTech, ScaleUp Porto and CMP, your logistic and bureaucratic help was vital. Thank you all!
The fine people from @github managed to get us some extra swag for your goodie bags AND licenses for the hackathon and AI competition winners so show them some love, y'all!
Boardgamers Porto will join us at 18:30. Come play some board games. Also, don't forget to check out their page facebook.com/BoardgamersPort…
The fun continues today! We start the day with @GeekGirlsPT G2PT63, in the afternoon we’ll work on television and Elixir, and, at the end of the day, Boardgamers Porto invite you to play with us!
Kick starting Make or Break 2018 in a perfect way: with an “How to prepare the perfect cup of coffee” workshop.
The bots are alive and kicking on the first and second matchdays of our A.I. competition.
Go to makeorbreak.io/ai-matchdays to find out who’s rocking and who’s not! BTW, you can still join the fun.
Make or Break workshops continue! On Saturday you can help run a newsroom operation, or start learning Elixir, functional programming, and OTP concurrency. On Sunday you’ll create a blockchainy “Hello World”. Don’t miss a beat! makeorbreak.io/#workshops
You can still apply to our workshops! Friday will start with the best coffee, followed by amazing Unreal Engine optimization tips, and an introduction to Git for the newer developers (or really distracted ones), by the end of the day.
Hey, listen! Applications to Make or Break hackathon close in a few hours. Gather your people and rush! makeorbreak.io/#hackathon
