This is what happens when you cut taxes repeatedly for 25 years and pretend that they “pay for themselves.”
💵Of every $1 the US federal government collects:
19.7¢ → interest on the debt
17.9¢ → national defense
Interest passed defense in late 2024 and hasn't looked back — 20 straight months.

Rule changes for the SpaceX $SPCX IPO:
Index providers waived the profitability requirement and cut the seasoning window from 90 days to 5.
This forces over $30 trillion in passive 401k and retirement money to buy SpaceX at IPO valuations.
Bloomberg Intelligence estimates S&P 500 funds must absorb 19% of SpaceX's float within 6 months.
Russell 1000 and Nasdaq 100 funds will absorb 24%.
The rules built to protect passive investors:
1. S&P 500 has required 12 months of trading and 4 quarters of GAAP profitability since 2002. Both waived.
2. Nasdaq cut its inclusion window from 90 trading days to 15.
3. FTSE Russell cut its to 5.
All three benchmarks are now structured to buy SpaceX at IPO pricing.

There have been 16 70-point games in NBA history.
Five of them have come since 2023.

Bam just had the grossest historic game ever.
He became the first ever player to score 70 while shooting under 50% on FGs (20/43).
He attempted 43 free throws and made 36, both the most ever.
He played 42 minutes & his team intentionally fouled to prolong a 30-point blowout.

Another two weeks in various parts of India. I have said before that India feels like China 2005, where I briefly worked, in ambition and growth. However, three major issues need to be solved. 1/5

🗣️ Toni Kroos: “I hope the refugee issue will be behind us. That we will have succeeded in integrating many people, who will then work here and speak a bit of our language. I think there are many people who, like me, are sensitive to this issue.
Anyone who has feelings and thinks normally should feel the need to help people who did not leave their countries of their own free will and who are seeking protection with us.” 🇩🇪❤️

Nebraska ties Iowa for largest GDP loss.
“As long as Nebraskans keep voting Republican to, you know, keep some trans kid from a swim meet or whatever, this won’t be the last town in the state to face economic collapse.”
From Daily Kos about how Iowa and Nebraska have had the largest GDP losses in 🇺🇸 in 2025. Not great.

Instead of using the word "Cornhusker" - a trademark registered to the University of Nebraska - for this... facility, I propose that @TeamPillen brands it after himself.
Pillen's Pen.
Keep the name of Nebraska's flagship university away from this prison.
COMING SOON to Nebraska: Cornhusker Clink. Today, we’re announcing a new partnership with the state of Nebraska to expand detention bed space by 280 beds.
Thanks to Governor Pillen for his partnership to help remove the worst of the worst out of our country. If you are in America illegally, you could find yourself in Nebraska’s Cornhusker Clink. Avoid arrest and self deport now using the CBP Home App.
