THE DESCENT - a short visual story.
This film is deeply personal to me. Beneath its science-fiction world lies a story about memory, identity, compassion, and the parts of ourselves that survive even after everything else has been stripped away.
I poured a lot of myself into every frame, every sound, and every quiet moment of The Descent. I hope something in it stays with you after the credits.
A huge thank you to CapCut for supporting this project. I also had the chance to explore CapCut AI Studio, and I was genuinely surprised by how well it understood the intention behind my prompts, not only the literal descriptions, but also the mood, visual logic, and emotional direction I was trying to communicate. It became a valuable part of the creative process.
Thank you to everyone who watched, supported the project, and helped me bring this descent to life.

We're proud to announce that the first 24/7 FAST channel dedicated to AI cinema is now available on two of the largest CTV and FAST platforms in the world.
On Amazon, Fairground AI Creator TV is available to Prime Video's massive U.S. audience and select other territories, regardless of their plan. The channel joins creator channels such as MrBeast, iShowSpeed TV, and Hot Ones.
With Xumo Play, owned by Comcast and Charter Communications, their FAST and AVOD platform is available across all major streaming devices in North America, as well as being the default streaming service for Xfinity, Spectrum and Cox set top boxes in the USA.
More platforms means more eyes on the work of AI filmmakers, and we're thrilled to add these two as carriers of the channel following Roku and LG.
This is a big moment as it introduces AI cinema to millions of potential new viewers. But it's only possible because of the hard work, creativity, and trust of our creator community.

Really surreal to say this, TAOTIE is now streaming on Fairground AI Creator TV, newly launched on Roku (Channel 300) and LG (Channel 249) in the U.S. and select territories.
Even more special to be part of Fairground’s launch lineup / Launch Partners, alongside a growing community of filmmakers exploring what AI-native cinema can become.
This film started as a small experiment built around mythology, greed, and atmosphere, so seeing it make its way onto a 24/7 television channel feels pretty wild.
Huge thanks to the Fairground team for giving TAOTIE a new home, and for continuing to create more spaces for independent AI filmmaking.

NIGHTBORNE is the first full test AI film I have made. It was made using Seedance 2.0.
I've been experimenting with AI for a couple of years, and it's now at the point where I want to tackle a full feature in this format. This is a 13-minute test start.
It was made with real concept artists, and features the faces and voices of 32 real people.
Barley Studios will be my new AI studio for creating my own films, the way Oats Studios was for traditional film and VFX. @Barleystudiosai
