That was capitulation and non-consensus as @ramahluwalia always states, good lesson again from mr market

The only interesting case is $UNI. Uniswap is still the liquidity king among DEXs. Founder is in place leading the way and backed by the early investors. However, from price action I see the capitulation on fee switch, and controversial decisions with verticalization of products

2nd public corporate conflict in Aave in a month, somebody asked me why I think Aave is abandoned, no strong leader to navigate the storm, @StaniKulechov is playing social games, insiders suck the juice out of the treasury. aave is too expensive for this mess

4. From what I see in the market, the projects are not mature enough and too early to be operating as "public" companies. DAO is cool, but after 5-6 years, there are no clear structure and policies to be governed without the active focused leaders. xitter.cf/TokenBrice/status/1755…

1/N Global Liquidity, which is all cash and credit available to financial markets, measured by @crossbordercap, is on an uptrend. “Global liquidity has reached a record US$171.3tr. To put it in context, the 2023 average was US$166.6tr, and the cycle-low in October 2022 was US$158.8tr. Yet, liquidity levels are only 8% above that low. The liquidity cycle typically spans 5-6 years from trough to trough, and we are approximately 15 months into the current upturn. Based on this, we expect liquidity levels to rise through this year and next, peaking towards the end of 2025.”

From 13F fillings nothing interesting for crypto, $MSTR is up +1m shares. Most of the inflows are index-based from passive investors, SIG just added long stocks and puts (quant based). Looking forward to see 13f in April for 24Q1 for BTC ETFs xitter.cf/LumidaWealth/status/17…

17/N The broader Crypto market will focus on coin-picking and exploring new, shiny narratives, with the potential for a few more breakthroughs in use cases. However, old narratives, such as DeFi 1.0, may underperform. While there are still opportunities for 100x returns, for passive investors, BTC (and to a lesser extent, ETH with its staking and DeFi yields) stands out as the most favorable option. xitter.cf/mainview_io/stat…
DeFi 1.0 tokens seems clustering into 3 main groups by 1y performance vs. ETH 1. Doing well: $MKR $SNX in line or outperforming ETH 2. Flat: $SUSHI, $UNI, $YFI, $COMP, $AAVE 3. Loosing value: $BAL, $CRV From bottom to top comment below, thanks to @tokenterminal for data 🧵
